Anonymous, 16 Feb 2025*Cough*Xiaomi 14T*Cough*I wanted to recommend the Xiaomi 14T, but the main camera suffers from really annoying focus hunting while recording videos. They have yet to address it since it was first released a couple months back, and it's bugging the heck out of me. The same focus hunting issue also occurs on more recent Redmi Note phones.

Another failure is on the way lol. They just keep coming up with them with literally no upgrade but for the soc and even that is Exynos. I hope their latest innovation is not being 50g heavier. The last useful A series was the A52s with sd778g. Just downhill from there.

I don't speak the languages of the people playing in both videos. If the settings are the same in both videos, based on one of the games both players are playing, it seems like the E1480 performs better than the SD778G. You may be right and in PS2 emulation the E1480's GPU is better than the SD778G's.

the ai accelerator on the 1580 has 14.7tops, idk if that's good or not
also relating to the cpu, the a720+a520 is quite a jump over the a78+a55
but idk what happened in the leaked benchmark, since this is literally has the same config as the tensor g4 with the x4 replaced by the a720

Samsung is the fault. Someone or more have to report this major thermal issue on Samsung community forum or something. I can't, I don't have Samsung phone right now. So I can't provide a proof. You all can ignore or calling me lying all you want but I am being very honest. Everyone who have a Samsung can try this test.

Try convert any video with it and especially try to convert to h265 format. It will immediately overheat you'll never finish the converting. Because I'm afraid your phone will become a brick.

There's one thing from A55 that bugs me however, the front camera is really bad. It have yellow tint and lack of detail. A52 on the other hand have really excellent cameras with amazing color tint praised by many tech YouTubers. This camera issue is probably is a hardware issue which can't be fix by a software update.
Also the last Android software update of Samsung phones are likely to make the phone hot.
Samsung phones already has bad thermal in the beginning as the developer of Aethersx2 himself said.
I proved this too, by just using a video converter called Ffmpeg Media Encoder. Whenever I tried to convert videos the phone suddenly get hot to it maximum heat: 59 ° Celsius! I had proven this by tried to convert a 5 minutes h264 video to h265 format. It took forever and I was never finished doing it. Because the phone already ultra hot. I could now the temperature simply by going to app that's registered to the Game Launcher app. And I shocked. I immediately leave the phone for minutes probably 30 or so. I had tried this test on 4 Samsung phones and the results are the same. Scary story but more people should now.
I already contacted the developer of the video converter app and every app version gave the same results. Maximum overheat.
There's something really wrong with Samsung's thermal.
I planned to move to other brands like poco. They usually deliver good performance without overheating like crazy.
But A55 excellent body material and good navy blue color kinda tempted me. The price is also expensive especially with bad cameras shouldn't priced like that. Price hike every year. Downgrade every year. Samsung is going out of control.

As you will see it struggle with most wanted. It struggle even more on A52s i used one back then. Because it one of the most heavy ps2 titles to emulate. The hardest is Gran Turismo 4.
