Only February 2025 it got downgraded to quarterly updates but all the time before it was monthly. Updates used to come around the 16th of every month sometimes around the 25th.

          Jerryrigeverything showed the pathetic build quality of this phone
          Gorilla armor 2 seems to be without a doubt weaker than the previous one
          Shame on Samsung, the S25 series is a disappointment in every regard

                Original S21 series to S24 series got monthly updates in full year of 2024.

                      The guy said he never got updates (monthly patches) on his S24 Ultra. Twelve months has passed since the launch of S24 series, while on the same timeframe ALL original S21 series to S24 series got monthly updates. Hence why i also included S21 on my comment.

                        Why is everyone harping on about updates?? What's that got to do with durability??

                            I blame Elisa aka my carrier.
                            According to forums, Samsung gives the carrier the updates and the carrier publishes the software updates to our devices via the sim card????

                            I asked Elisa like 3 times already, but they keep telling me, that the updates will come, the updates will come, bla bla bla!!!!
                            And they told me, that Samsung gives us the updates and not the carrier, but Samsung Members forum says, that it is the carrier.

                            Who is lying, Samsung users in Samsung forums or my carrier????

                              My Samsung XCover Pro with Android 14 stopped receiving updates a year ago (February 2024).
                              The phone stopped working in January 2025.
                              I had to switch to my 7 years old Sony Xperia XA2 (released February 2018) and now I get Android 15 updates *WEEKLY*.
