jsoprano75, 24 Feb 2025This is going to be a lengthy post, but please hear me out.... moreI totally agree with you. My family and I had about 5 Mac Book Pro, 2 iMac and 6 iPads. Even after all these Apple gadgets, I don't see myself owning an iPhone. Iphones users cannot realize that Samsung phones are better. I have the note20 Ultra and S25 Ultra. I really miss the SD card. I love to install apk apps.

One of the most important features to me is Bluetooth audio which never gets reviewed as a lot of us spend a lot of time either in a car or with a headset on, it has been a big issue since a galaxy s10 update, I loved iPhone audio quality prior to that and it’s a big draw for me but if it has also been restricted then I’d probably favour Samsung again, the biggest note was radio volume when set had a much higher db then through the Samsung. Bug bare when turning radio on again each time or a call volume (on some radios).

Nameless, 23 Feb 2025I don't understand why Samsung can't make 25mp bi... moreActually, 4x and 16x downsampling modes make perfect sense. 8x may sound like a "nice even number" for the 200 MP sensor, but remember that this is tetra2pixel matrix, in reality it will be square root of 8 = 2.82 scaling factor. Apple kind of gambled there with 24 MP downsampling mode (square root of 2 = 1.41) which turned fine, but not perfect. But, I guess it would be "nice to have" despite not being mathematically ideal. Best for that use case was Samsung HMX 108 MP sensor, which had a native 27 MP photos. I can never figure why it was abandoned, as it had optimal pixel size and resolution.

Both are wrong in my case. I used iPhone and I could buy any iPhone. But decided to buy Samsung instead. Joy to use and customize.

I trust phonebuff battery comparison more than GSMArena's.
And that said the difference isn't as huge as is on GSMArena. Actually, its practically the same.

Most IOS users don't know the difference between budget, midrange and flagship android phone so they all see android users as broke people which is very ignorant, foolish and stupid. That android fans are roasting iOS users is bcuz iOS fans started it first

How does the iphone have the better display?
The brighter display on the iphone can be matched with the anti reflective display on the galaxy.
                        The galaxy has more ppi.

You can't say i5 has the better display just because it has Dolby vision can you?

This is going to be a lengthy post, but please hear me out. As a user of both iPhones and Samsungs over the years, I can say unequivocally that I enjoy using Samsungs more than any iPhone. Sure, IOS works great and is almost perfectly optimized, but aside from that and shooting video, which is still close IMO, that's all that Apple brings to the table. The only outlier may be that IOS has better security and is less vulnerable to hacks, spyware and adware. Aside from those things, Samsung gives you more for your money.

Apple hasn't been the same since Steve Jobs passed, they offer little innovation. While not the king of innovation, Samsung has done a much better job than Apple, and One UI in my honest opinion is the best user interface out there. I have the S25 Ultra, and now One UI 7 is even better. The customization options are limitless, and now that specs have been going in favor of Samsung for the last several years, I see little reason why anyone would want an iPhone over a Samsung, unless they are too far entrenched in the IOS ecosystem. IOS just feels stale and boring and you are limited in customization options, especially compared to a Galaxy. Navigating the settings in IOS is a hassle and the layout of the settings menus is unpractical which makes finding a particular setting cumbersome, especially when it seems like Apple keeps moving them around after each IOS update.

With a Samsung, you have more user control over your phone and how you use it, but IOS on the other hand controls how you use it. I know its subjective, and some users like iPhones because they are accustomed to them and they do get the job done and thats fine if you don't care about customization. My company uses iPhones because of their security, and recently gifted me the iPhone 16 pro. It's a great phone for certain applications, but once I get home, it goes back in my work bag and I pick up my Galaxy S24 and S25 Ultra. I just find iPhones to be boring and the user experience for me feels listless and dull. Even aesthetically, just looking at the home screen on the iPhone compared to a Galaxy home screen, I find the Galaxy more pleasant to look at. The Galaxy menus, are laid out in a manner, where finding specific settings is easier and less of a hassle.

I'll admit, there was once a time when Apple made the best phones, but it's been several years now since Samsung has caught up with and passed Apple, probably somewhere between 2018 and 2020. 2020 is a very significant year as it was the year that Samsung started making the Note 20 and S20 series. I actually still use the base model S20 5G, which has 12 GB of RAM, an SD card slot with 512 GB of storage and a screen pixel density of over 560 ppi. This phone from 2020 still has better screen resolution (1440 x 3200 pixels) than almost any phone on the market today. Keep in mind, this phone is from 2020 and its still fast, even in 2025. There isn't any iPhone from that time that I would feel comfortable using as an option to my S24. To me, every iPhone feels and looks the same and people keep buying them based on their past reputation.

Once last thing I would like to add. There is this notion going around that only poor people buy Android and people who trash iPhones are just jealous because they can't afford them. I would like to remind these people that Samsungs top flagship the S2* Ultra, cost more than any iPhone. Not only that, but you also get more for your money. Apple has made a habit of ripping off it's customers. The latest example is the new iPhone 16e, which is just another money grab by Apple. Feature-wise, my S20 5G from 2020 destroys this phone in literally everything, except the processor. But, people are still going to buy that paperweight because it's an iPhone. I apologize for this lengthy post, but these Samsung vs iPhone comparisons are getting old, and Samsung has been making better phones for several years now.

OnePlus 13, is the clear winner here!!

Even our company phones are iPhones. Why? Because most of MDMs are working best with Apple products through Apple Enterprise suite. Everytime I see the newest version of Sammys Ultra phone I think: "Nice try", but in business they basically do not exist. In the States... it's pretty hard to find somebody with an Andorid phone. Even kids or students (if you will) in In-N-Outs Burgers use iPhones. These guys don't care how good Sammys camera is or how much you customize your phone. They love AirDrop, AirPods and other things Apple products can do and Android basially can't. On top of this... there is a migration issue from Apple to Samsung environment. The issue is named... iCloud ;-) You can't easly get your 100k photos and videos out of your iCloud 2TB account and store them let's in Google Photos. ;)

Samsung and apple would have their wives and children warming up soup and eventually cause their wives to kick them out.

The funny thing is... No body cares about Samsungs. At my workplace nobody is using Samsung device, including lowest paid jobs positions. Ok S25 Ultra could be having better cameras bla bla bla, but it's not an iPhone or THE iPhone. So... For iPhone users it's just an interesting thing instead of "the real thing". If you know what I mean.
