DarlingYext, 15 Feb 2025"Both are great phones, just depends on what you need ... moreBecause they are great. They may lack in tech compared to chinese phones but it makes them safe and conservative choices, which suit the needs of the majority of phone users. Only enthusiasts need all those fancy tech that Chinese phones have and apparently those enthusiasts make up a tiny weeny portion of the market. Stop telling yourself that Samsung phones are this or that blah blah. Instead, ask yourself: Why have Samsung phones broken sales records despite offering little to no upgrade within the past few gens? Why do Samsung have the confidence to price their S series alot higher than Chinse phones even when they have less tech? Simple. Because they are great phones, that's why. Techs alone don't make a phone great.

Yeah, both are great phones.. maybe in a vacuum, just depends on how much of the rest of the market one ignores. If every other option is ignored, these are definitely the best phones out there.

Both are great phones, just depends on what you need it for. The only thing that you'll notice is the 2+ hours battery life. You won't notice the difference in performance in normal tasks. You really have to bring the phone to the limit (wich 99% of users don't) if you want to see it.

If you're an average user (bit of calls, texting, social media, bit of gaming), get a cheaper S24+.

If you're a heavy gamer, than get the S25+. Simple as that.

It should be noted that the Plus model's camera hardware hasn't really changed since the S22+

One person is right in comment section. S25 series are like turbo versions of S24 series. I already bought S24+ and I don't need a new phone until S27 series arrive. Same for smartwatches. Already have Watch 6 Classic so no need to buy basic Watch 7 or square Watch Ultra. Rotating bezel is superb compared by joke crown that every brand use.

                              Same phone, different chipsets.

Midrange camera setup, below par charging speeds, small battery. How are these flagships again?

S in S25 models mean Superglue...

The S25 plus is the S24 plus but with ugly fake camera rings

Samsung's flagship series are really overdue a camera hardware update, especially for the telephoto but also a main camera mode. Also, It baffles me why they still don't have a fast shutter mode that works well for pics of moving subjects, something like Vivo, OPPO, Honor or Xiaomi (although Xiaomi's isn't as good as the others at least it has one). Having said that one area they are doing well for cameras is the video quality, especially in daylight. which is still better than some competitors. For photos though I think there are plenty of better more rounded options and the s26 series really should give a significant upgrade to the camera hardware

Samsung Galaxy S23 (Exynos) Vs Samsung Galaxy S23 (Snapdragon and Black camera ring edition).
