      As of February 2025, Oppo can sell phones in Germany. The company reached a global 5G patent cross-licensing agreement with Nokia in January 2024, ending a legal dispute that had previously halted sales47. This agreement resolved the patent issues that had forced Oppo to suspend its smartphone sales in Germany since August 202213.

      The resolution of this dispute allows Oppo to freely sell its devices in Germany once again7. While Oppo itself has not made a specific announcement about resuming sales in Germany, its sister brand OnePlus has already returned to the German market, bringing back six smartphone models in January 20244. Given the shared ownership and the resolution of the patent dispute, it is highly likely that Oppo can now also sell phones in Germany.

      It's worth noting that during the sales suspension, Oppo continued to provide software updates and customer support to existing users in Germany12. The company's return to the German market represents a significant development for Oppo's presence in Europe.

          vik457, 14 Feb 2025No, it's 6x with f/2,6 aperture, they have posted samples.Oh, I see, so its quite similar to 2019 phone with 5x 13mp system, which is only slight downgrade to current 64mp 3x which can pose as 16mp 6x - though it was quad bayer 16mp at 6x, it wasnt so bad, basically coming close to 10x 10mp on samsung's ... which on other hand 6x 8mp will have hard time achieving.
          It's a bit shame that form over function influenced foldables so much... but at least they offer more zoom at that thinness than samsung at their thickness...

                        If 8mp was like 5-8x zoom it would be understandable, but if it's ultrawide, it's just such downgrade as any foldable cameras today.
                        Anyway, cameras in folds are always downgrade.

There was an announcment end of last yeas that they might have ended that patent law thing, but only Oneplus products were available again from that moment on. You may get some phones which were in stock before though.

                              3x has aperture of f/4,5 and 8 mp sensor is in 6x with f/2.6 aperture

                                There are more downsides than just that camera downgrade with that strategy..Even if they would sell in europe..Oppo is not allowed to sell phones in Germany....well done, another separation of markets. And even if, I found oxygenOS better than colorOS, at least the ones I compared, including translation errors and so on
