      If i would be changing phones every year i would go Samsung ultra series, or just a performance oriented mid ranger like the poco x6 pro i am using at the moment. Your suggested best buys suchs x200 pro and one+13 or oppo find x8 pro and maybe the upcoming Xiaomi 15 ultra cost almost the same or slightly less than a Samsung galaxy s25u or even iPhone 16 pro max (a very good phone, especially the chipsets sustained performance, but i don't like ios restrictions), personally i don't justify all that money for a Chinese brand. I admit now they offer superior hardware compared to crapple and Scamsung, i am very impressed with the vivo x200 pro camera, it's so good that it puts s25u or ip 16 pro to shame, makes photos taken with the latter look like they were taken by a budget low end device when comapred side by side. Yet i still don't vouch for these brands.
      These phones are cheap in asian countries (oppo, vivo...) one+ are cheap in the usa.. so the price difference is not negligible, but for the rest of the world, they cost just like premium devices and are often not sold globally or come very late.

I received a s25U as a gift, it's still sealed in box and when i use it i will never update it. Because Samsung in my experience sends rigged updates in order to sabotage battery life and performance.

                I am hapoy that many support the fall of OnePlus by choosing better flagship from Samsung, resulting the flop sales of OnePlus in 2024, and finally exiting the market in 2025.

                No OnePlus foldable phone anymore..humanity restored.

                Nokia, Blackberry, HTC, and now OnePlus are all yesterday brand.

                        Thats why no chinese flagship from 2021 get 4th OS upgrades, which is really embarassing.

                        Luckily, many ex-chinese flagship user has made right decision by moving to Samsung and buy S25 series.

                            Correction: Many ex-S24series users are disappointed for not getting Android 15 so they bought an S25 series device instead.

                            Nearly all chinese flagships got Android 15 already from the past 3 years.

                                      Where does it say that you have to download the Beta version and test it? It's an option. Oh, and this is exactly what's going on with the S24 series, except with a version of Android that's already out.
