The Pixel 9 Pro XL is $300 cheaper than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but the Pixel 9 Pro is around the same price as the vanilla S25 - $40 higher, actually.

    S24 FE 8/128 at $449 and 8/256 at $499 would be an even better deal.

It makes me angry because i'd easily buy one but can't live thinking i bought a flagship and have a sub par chip...
        If they solve that in pixel 10 pro, probably gonna order one!

              It's literally a TSMC N3E ReMake of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 paired with the GPU from Snapdragon 8 Elite, as well as the modem from Dimensity 9300 and 9400.
              Reason: The Tensor G5 has 2 A520@2.4Ghz, 5 A725@2.85Ghz and 1 X4@3.4Ghz. Pretty similar to what Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 offered, and if going all out, should be achieving 2200 single core and 6000 to 6500 in multicore Geekbench 6.
              The GPU, IMG-DXT-48-1536, was also the GPU chosen by the now-nuked OPPO Zeku department for their first SoC. According to one folk on Weibo, its performance is even better than Adreno 830 as long as Google sorts drivers, software, etc. out.
              The unrealsed Mediatek T900 is said to be what's integrated in Dimensity 9300 and 9400 according to weibo.

                1000 bucks for a flagship with a midrange chip, price still too high. Price gonna come down much more. I recon, 2-3 more months and price will be like 800 or less and then yes it would be a fair price.
