Of all the Apple products I owned, the one with an overheating issue and early end was the one with Intel modem- IPhone XS Max. It overheated like anything when using WiFi hotspot or 4G. And died one day while overheating on a data call. I would think thrice before buying an iPhone with in-house Modem, especially knowing that it’s the same Intel solution which has been developed for 5G. Qualcomm may be a patent bully, but their top end modem have no match in terms of power and performance. And even in cases where they have dropped the ball (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1), it wasn’t as bad as the intel modem.

Apple wouldn't be Apple if it would not apply such scam tactics in order to increase profit (because they are soooo short on cash) but that's not the worse part. We, customers, are the worse part as we continue to buy shit from such companies, just for the sake of being able to say "I'm a part of the big happy iPhone family". As long as people are willing to pay whatever such companies ask while openly brag about the huge amount of cash they sit on then who is the biggest fool? Apple or us, customers? No new iPhone was ever launched without a huge amount of people complaining about it but still the same people continue to buy is. Stop complaining and don't buy it. Problem solved.

"In 2025, most Android mid-rangers start at 128GB" - wrong, most 100-150€ phones do. Most mid-rangers start at 256GB because nobody will buy them otherwise. Even if they DO have 128GB variant, it is only sold in poorer countries at a lower price. And/or have a microSD slot.
If this is true and this PoS comes with 64GB - lol, good luck , Apple. Where do you even find these 64GB nand chips, it has to be a special order or a perpaps an old warehouse full of them from 2012 or something....
256GB base storage or this phone is irrelevant. Battery life is irrelevant if the base storage is 64GB. DoA.
Or add a microSD Express slot, but that's never gonna happen....

That's why iPhone 16 series all come with minimum 128GB and 8GB RAM. Android phone too, Samsung did announce that the new Samsung UI with AI won't be support for older model. Why? Most of the models have less than 8GB RAM and some have lower storage below 128GB. Even on Computer, the minimum requirements to run AI is 8GB RAM and 128GB free space in the hard drive.

It’s not $100 per upgrade of storage it’s $50 per 64gb. The current SE is $430 for the 64 and the 128 is $480

Anyhow, I wasn’t aware that that were storage limitations associated with Apple intelligence, all I had heard was that ram was a limiting factor 🤔
