Anyone who doesn't like it can just skip it. The 64gb won't hurt you then, right?

Besides, I bet most of the complainers wouldnt buy this thing if it had 1tb. Like that other guy said, "we just want to have fun complaining."

And tons of people have pointed out that there are cheaper options with more storage, and it's not like anyone's copying it anyway.

            Belsa, 20 hours agoOh please, don't justify the unjustifiable. 64GB in 20... moreMaybe you're lacking "study" for your lack of reading comprehension... I never justified 64Gb and putting 64Gb on this iPhone SE will doom it. In MY case, I took 64Gb (like 2 or 3 years ago) because I use it to study Japanese. I do calligraphy with it, flash note and text books. That takes almost 45Gb out of the 64Gb and I can't do much else. Maybe you should stop installing games, Netflix and useless apps for your iPads.

                    Buy oneplus 13 512 GB with 16 GB RAM instead! It has everything that iPhone 16 Pro Max but half the price!

                          64BG is too much storage for poor Shipple! Apple needs to up their game and start the basic model at 32 GB of ROM, to better guide the Shipple to store their personal data in Apple's cloud where Apple Intelligence can surveil and be trained upon.

                                It always makes me laugh when I see comments complaining about Apples greed 😂

                                I’ve said it before people and I’ll say it again, Apple are no more or less greedy than their competitors, they are just better at being greedy.

                                Let’s do a thought experiment:

                                1. Apple release a £500 iPhone with 64gb storage, 60hz screen and a single rear camera. How well does it sell, we’ll have to wait and see but probably pretty well I’ll bet.
                                2. Competitor ‘A’ also releases a £500 phone with the same specs. How well does it sell, not so great if we are being honest right?

                                Now imagine some magical genie type dude approaches Competitor ‘A’ and tells them he can perform some mystical mumbo jumbo and make it so their low spec £500 phone will out perform the iPhone in sales, and that they needn’t bother trying to max out the spec sheet with more storage, extra cameras, HRR displays etc. in order to entice customers away from Apple.

                                Does Competitor’A’ then:

                                A. Put all those higher specs into their £500 phone anyway, because unlike Apple, they are just that dam nice.
                                B. Save as much as they can on component costs, realise the low spec £500 phone and max out their profit margin.

                                If you guessed option A, then I have a bridge I’d like to sell you. Again, Apple are not more greedy than the rest, they are just better at it 🤷‍♂️

                                Oh and this isn’t a defence of Apple by the way, I certainly won’t be paying £500 for a phone with 64gb storage. It’s just an observation.

                                  Rumours are rumours, so as always, I take 'em with a pinch of salt. But if 64gb is the baseline for this phone, that is a HUGE miss for Apple considering the price point that gets thrown around.
                                  That'# coming from an iPhone user, too.
