Xiaomi always make good phones, I like the look of this one.

It's just a rumor, just like this one also is, but many companies are said to be switching to Samsung panels for next year.
    The only reason they switched to chinese displays is because of the costs, Samsung panels started to get very expensive but that looks to be changing.

        What would be truly good for 16 ultra is same battery as Chinese version, or at least 6000 mah, battery on Xiaomi 's ultras is not good and they have the technology to do better, but keep it for china only. Cmon Xiaomi do better. Screen and cameras are already good enough maybe ultra wide upgrade.

The key differentiator for phones with the same chip, display size and resolution will always be software.

                                walkman8, 18 Feb 2025Finally a bigger display! After almost 4 years of using tha... moreSince it's flat, I have a feeling it's gonna be like the Red Magic 10 Pro. It's a 6.85" flat screen with thin bezels too. That phone's battery life numbers aren't the greatest so i think the display aint the most efficient.

                                Let's hope that these new displays are both nicer, brighter and also more efficient. Tho I must say their current Ultra has a really pretty front, the bezels are already quite thin, being even thinner would be nice if the chin isn't huge.

                                  can they beat them in battery on their global versions tho? The 14T Pro was nice in terms of battery but so was the 14, both of them were FHD+. Xiaomi's kryptonite is a QHD screen, their UI just can NOT handle it. I'm most curious about the 15 Ultra's battery life than its camera performance and hopefully the 16 Ultra would be a step up. Oneplus 12 tier battery life should be sufficient and anything more would be a bonus.

All they know that there is either Apple or a lot of other brands who all share similar OS on them. Majority of them don't even understand the difference in software. It's just different methods how to use the phone. After you unlock the screen it's the experience on opening apps and using social media is still totally the same on every smartphone

                                      Finally flat displays instead of this curved or micro curved stuff. Oppo will also switch to a flat display for the find x8 ultra. It seems that finally the Chinese brands have realized that top flagship phones don't have to come with curved displays. Lately flat screen phones seem to be out selling curved ones in China. Oppo for example were very surprised themselves at how well the find x8 has sold. Way way better than the curved find x7 despite the x7 having better camera hardware

If you prefer iPhone I respect your choice, but not everyone prefers iPhone, and their choice should be respected and I hope you respect my and others' choices.
