vivo X200 Ultra and X200s to arrive in two months

18 February 2025
That would be exactly half a year after the X200 and X200 Pro.

If they nerf the 1 inch sensor and make it smaller, then that means, it will use even more AI image processing.
Sad.
Me and my buddy Techder Audios like Vivo X100 Ultra, because it uses both AI image processing and normal image processing.
1 inch sensor takes amazing close ups in bright places with darker spots, without AI image processing.
If Vivo X200 Ultra has a smaller sensor, it will be more sensitive and use AI image processing in those places.
Sad.

Again, AI image processing looks like a chalkboard painting and AI image processing deletes small details like hair and knuckles.
This is my opinion and I have experience.

I am not saying AI is 100% bad.
The 1 inch 50MP main camera takes amazing close ups, in bright places and 7.5/10 close ups, in darker places.
It doesn't overuse AI in the main sensor.

The 200MP HP9 Periscope Telephoto sensor is good for landscapes and close ups also, but ONLY in bright places.
Yes, AI image processing looks diabolical with 200MP sensor.
The 200MP is too big and it looks like a chalkboard painting.
🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

I don’t use the Ultra wide camera.
It's useless.
My opinion.
It has so bad quality and you can't even use it in pro mode in high relosution mode.

Lister, 18 Feb 2025Is this the best camera phone? Xiaomi 15 Ultra is coming so ...

brsdrgn, 18 Feb 2025I hope uw will have a wide field of view. I like the app... moreAnd even bigger downgrade happened from z60 ultra to z70 ultra, from best ultrawide to one of worst.

I hope uw will have a wide field of view.

I like the approach towards 35mm. All I hope that it's not gonna cost losing wider view.

I do nature photography for that the main cam was always good. However, I also ove taking photos of the beautiful structures. Uw is the only way to fit more putting aside the distortion at the end. Somehow appealing to the eye :)

I always wanted producers to put a bigger uw sensor. They have been focusing on periscope so far. The only one I remember Oppo was using imx890 on x6 pro and they quickly removed that good sensor in the next one. Big disappointment imho.

Eno2, 18 Feb 2025No 1" or larger main camera sensor = NO buy!Sensor size is only a part of the equation. You need to take into account also lens quality, software, sensor technology.
In my opinion the 35 mm focal is much more usable that 23mm as a generic lens. It distorts much less and makes composition easier.

Anonymous, 18 Feb 2025Even physically cropping the LYT900 by using 35mm lens, it ... moreNo, a crop to 35mm equivalent would be ~ 1/1.5 sensor.
Nubia N60Ultra has a great combo of 18, 35 and 85mm lenses. It is a joy to use! It seems that vivo x200u has the same focal choice, but with better lenses / sensor / software. It will be hard to resist!💸

Even physically cropping the LYT900 by using 35mm lens, it would still beat 1/1.28" at 35mm. Saving space and money at performance cost.

The x200s will have some changes. It will have an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, wireless charging, a bigger battery over 6000mAh and a flat screen
