Anonymous, 19 Feb 2025 Lpddrx5 and 4.0 or 4.1 UFS confirm Cause 8gen4 ( 8 elite... moreufs 4.0 vs 4.1 there is no significant difference in memory speed, unless ufs 5.0 is produced in 2027 there will be a significant difference. ufs compared to nvme, still faster using nvme. used to be used on gaming smartphones with nvme storage / rarely used anymore. last i heard from the blackshark vendor. like the comparison of gdrr6x vs gdrr7 there is no difference at all. Samsung gdrr7 can read speeds up to 42.5 gbps. But there is no PC GPU yet, the GDR memory reading speed is 42.5 Gbps, it only prints 28 Gbps and even then it's only available on the Nvidia RTX 5090 GPU.

Will be pricey I suppose.
Reminds me of DDR5 8gb laptop vs DDR4 16gb similar price trade off.
I also bough a phone with less ram (12gb ) buy 3.1 UFS over 2.2 16gb .

Hardware wise, there will be no refresh this year which is fine. Looks good, hopefully this 3rd gen phone will fix prior bugs and glitches a foldable phone has.
