403 Forbidden, 21 Feb 2025Wanna hear a bad news? 6s Gen 1 is actually a rebadged 662 ... moreMakes sense, because the 680/685 is rebranded from the 6s Gen 1.

        > It makes no sense to bring a next-generation connectivity smartphone if you can't use it to its full potential.
Well, it makes sense? 5G chipsets are usually faster in terms of performance, even though in most case it's always more expensive than it's 4G counterpart (assuming that both has similar performace like Helio G99/G100 and Dimensity 6k series).
Speaks about G99/G100, I will never understand why Vivo/Oppo seems so alergic to this chipset. They rather use a slower 685 and then put it at the same price as a phone with G99/G100 from another brand.

Minu, 20 Feb 2025It's already rebranded as SD 6s Gen 1 though.Wanna hear a bad news? 6s Gen 1 is actually a rebadged 662 instead of 685 lmfao.

Snapdragon 685? Maybe Qualcomm should rebadge it into Snapdragon 6s gen 2. LOL.

It actually looks good, but I wouldn't mind it if this new trend of putting the IR blaster on the back and making it seem like a camera would stop way before it really starts.

if they are finally using UFS storage, at least there are significant upgrade compared to infamous vivo Y28 with 2020 specs.
i've seen this many times on tiktok. atleast in indonesia.

Love that Chinese phones are putting more effort into durability and batteries now more than ever. Really shows anyone who was "smartphones have peaked and can't get any better" are just downright wrong

There's also the Y39 5G, the 5G counterpart of this phone with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 that is listed on Vivo's Malaysian store but with a placeholder price as of writing this
