    Does not matter if it's Sony, Nokia, Apple, whoever came up with it, it's a great feature to have.

    They should make that button highly customizable with multiple gestures.

You see iPhone announce button, you can see the Timeline. It was xiaomi made sony button popular.

                          For a button that is actually customizable, I believe it was Samsung with its Bixby button (although not initially).
                          And finally, Apple had the Action button, which is intended to be customizable from the start, complete with haptic feedback. The Camera Control took it to the next level with gesture control.
