    Amazon has had an app store all this time? I shop and buy things from Amazon, and I've never come crossed it or even heard of Amazon having its own app store.

                Aaa, what will happen to Android-powered Kindles though - wasn't this their official app store?

                  I tried to use it, seeing if I could at least on one device not need google services. But - you don't open the app store, phone will 'optimise it' - fine with me, doesn't need to run. But then it turns out you cannot even start an app you have installed from it. Right. I've had situation, where i.e. mobile Outlook would not start, because it was unable to talk to amazon appstore app. And this is likely what will happen. They will shut the door, and the apps will stop working.

                    Well first and last time i bought something on amazon went with the way i bought a broken product noone wanted to fix it and noone gave me money back so i no longer used it that was year 2013. Since then i refused to use amazon.

                      I didn't even knew that even existed anymore since amazon fire phone in 2014 :)) when amazon tried to reinvent android with their own conditions.

                        Maybe this is why Microsoft dropped the Windows Subsystem for Android all along.

                          Anyways.... it will not be missed.

                            It’s a pointless App Store anyway, filled with ads-filled games only.

                              What I checked there is no amazon app store no in play store too

                                They forgot APKs exist

                                  Not worth the hassle.. with fake reviews who needs it..🤔

                                    Amazon AppStore was useless.

                                    Was really only for their Tablet to be honest

                                    BUT their FireStick is VERY popular and has deals linked to Amazon Prime - especially with low cost for Paramount shows like Halo S1 & S2 so what will happen now?
