I highly doubt people bought them in cash/debit card. Most likely a discounted (to push out the old units) networking plan with phone attached or vise versa. I never took statistics for granted, because, usually, the surveyed people are like representing 1-2% (or less) of all mobile phone customers, but sites like these will always boast about "oh look, people can afford flagships now! You should be next!" shilling. I still have nothing ethereally worth to upgrade from my OP 8T without calling it a sidegrade (well, substantial upgrade in camera performance or SoCs, but I don't play video games or do heavy SoC tasking on my phone, so it's kind of a MEH as an average phone user) as phones have matured incredibly well for most tasks. I'd say, a fold type phone is more sensible upgrade for those who wish to not carry around a phone and table seperately, otherwise, the market is just not worth looking at unless you're upgrade from a very old phone or have more money to splurge than sense.

    well this years chip is the best SoC made in human history and combine it with bigger Si/C batterys ....this years phones are pretty much the best ones considiring the prices to what you get exept apple and samsung........they still milk their fanboys but im happy with all other brands

      Unrelated... but how does the 3D tool for comparing phones work?

      I just go to the page and see the basic phones side by side, like, where you choose the colours you want to preview, the text that credits Binkies 3D and then the button with "Compare specs" which just sends me back to the spec sheets, nothing else...

      Am I doing something wrong here? Also thanks in advance.

        Might wanna report Facebook deleting live videos off their platform after a set period. I feel sorry for those people who will be affected AND who also made fun of microsd cards back in the day. xD
