The 16e is fairly pricey while still cutting out quite a bit of hardware even compared to older models like the iPhone 15.

The refurbed 15 seems like a much better deal, might not have a perfect battery and you get a 16 bionic instead of a binned A18 but almost everything else in the phone is superior and they sell for $200 less than a 16e

            The biggest scam is with memory upgrades. It cost £50 but they charge you £200. That's the most the make money from. Chinese brands even when you buy flagship you pay half of it what you would pay for Apple in storage department. If you buy mid range devices it's another half less. Ridiculous. With Apple you have to pay premium all the time.

                          Paying 850€ for basically a mid range phone is insane. I'm mentioning that one because I expect people to go with the 256 Gb model in 2025, why do they even try and make 128Gb versions anymore? Also if you can pay 850€ for that scam phone, you can basically pay 100 more and just get the regular 16 which is gives you a lot more, or even the 15. Or basically buy an android flagship for that money and that will give you upgrades in absolutely every way

                            Please keep in mind that these are prices on Amazon. Apple store still sells them at the printed price.

                            Another thing is that with 16e, I'm not seeing as many discount/cashback offers on different cards as we usually see with new phones.

                              The 15 feels kind of expensive in the difference as it should be a lot more cheaper.
                              Just looking the article that show prices for the base version as 8/128GB the 16e shows 700 euro and standard 16 is 740 euro so i would expect 15 to be at 600 euro to make sense to get it over 16 and 16e

                                Standard iphone 16 for extra 40 euro over 16e and you get so much more.
                                That 512GB storage in the phone cost more then 2TB m.2 SSD

                                Well the more storage option on the 16e makes no sense anyways when it's built for the people who dont use the phone a lot and all the features so dont have much features to fill the storage

For that diff. in price : -50% in overall SoCs performance, especially GPU and AI, at +33% the price....it simply not worthy. With 150+ euro, just buy a Sony Camera or something else. It would beat the crap of anything that all these phones come, anyway.

                                  But the main idea is that Apple phones are the greatest theft, if you don't by them refurbished from Amazon at half the price, which in fact is their real price.

                                  I suggest you 'The History of Economic Thinking, a Critical Perspective' to understand what everyone's doing...

                                      Xiaomi Poco x7 pro is a better phone with more enjoyable user experience for only 250€. The redmi note 14 pro+ is another alternative if you're after a good camera quality.
