Let's not forget how the Exynos 9611 is technically same as the Helio G80, but with support for UFS storage (disappointingly enough, none of the Samsung phones with the 9611 don't even have UFS in the first place, except the A51 for Tracfone). One UI was never optimized for any device that doesn't get considered a "flagship", and upper mid-rangers like the A73 and A55 are no exception.

                  Minu, 4 hours agoThey're using that title for the 7th consecutive year ... moreand it's not like these phones have exceptional battery either. I bought a Galaxy M31 cus im a battery freak and need long lasting phones, since it was a 1080p 6000 mah phone i thought it'd be amazing but wow, after buying the s22 ultra was i completely surprised by the fact that the m31 was only 10% better. Mind you, even the base iPhone 13 of a relative was on the same level as my s22 ultra so imagine how good the Pro Max was.

                  So at the end of the day, these phones only tout huge batteries yet don't really provide an amazing experience. My theory is that there's a few factors at play here. Firstly, the display being vastly more inefficient on these lower cost phones, secondly the chips being quite inefficient also dramatically hurts their battery and finally the software not being properly optimized for budget-midrange phones could also be a factor.
