The truth is only one: The "delay" is intentional, otherwise they have nothing else to offer as an advantage for the S25U over the S24U. It's not about bug fixes and other things you're fooling yourself with. If that were the case, OneUI 7 would have been "polished to perfection" for the S25U before it went on sale. And what did it turn out to be? There are a lot of things to fix and they had to release a major update almost immediately to fix a number of bugs, especially in the photography software.

The reason why so many phones got updates so quickly is because either a: they were built with the version of the software in mind, or b: they are absolutely barebones in terms of features so there are 0 compatibility issues.
            Samsung being one of the most customizable, feature heavy phones, it makes sense that they would want to beta test to ensure everything runs smoothly. Either way you're guaranteed that upgrade. Which is funny you're critiquing Samsung as Xiaomi is currently behind their current upgrade timeline and is currently cancelling promised upgrades for many older phones. Additionally, the upgrades they are releasing are becoming buggy messes with their forums being flooded by people that want to downgrade.
