D7300/7400 is decent SoC but having cortex A720 is much better than A78 especially power usage.

Well, if Qualcomm can do it with 7s and 7+, MT could also do it with 5-10% changes..
    RIP 2025/2026 midrangers

Dimensity 7300/7400 have 4 A78 performance cores. The performance difference is huge actually. So, no, they are not comparable. This is a far better chip for the phones in $200-$300 price range.

Chip shortage has its effects still huh

So base razr 60 will have a78? Disappointing...

WW3, 26 Feb 2025Same same but slight different. They should have released an intermediate chip called 7350. Just 50 MHz faster.

                        7200 > 7400> 7300
                        Mediatek math 👌.

Hopefully it's about 10-15% better than the Dimensity 7300,if Mediatek decide to not be a dumass this time or maybe they will I don't care anymore bro 😭

I'd expect an Antutu score of:almost 800k to over 800k.

Rebranding the Dimensity 920 or probably the Dimensity 900 for 3-4 times in 3-5 years is just a really stupid move but this is Mediatek we're talking about so it can't be helped.

Lmao outdated A78 cores, it just higher tier of helio G9* family just very marginal improvement to stay relevant and new

another fork of good'ol dimensity 920

I have the 7300 in my Edge 50 Neo. I think it's a great chip. Better than the budget chips Qualcomm is pushing out.

Is A78 is still reliable than newer cores? Only 8000 series and 9000 series get latest cores and technologies. Rest all crap.
