My POCO F6 has 1220p and i paid 260€ for it.

- Crap cameras (main, ultraw... moreSamsung A3x and A5x sold numbers are good cause Samsung is pretty much in every market in our planet. If it be limited to only few markets then it be different story.
Also it's not a good product if they need to give discounts so people buy them. Dropping in value fast and never mind that for the release price the phone is extreme over priced.
A5x series have not advanced much from the A52s as in 4 years the performance have gone up at best 100-150k only trough Antutu benchmark score. At 2021 that A52s performance was really good but in 2025 that is really bad in that price range where you get already phones that are 2 times more powerful with performance.
A lot of arguments you made like the screen glass being Victus that is just the glass name and it's not the latest Victus even as it's the first generation with the Victus name while the Gorilla Glass 7i should be newer then the Victus. I dont see a problem in the always on display as i like it the way it is on the Xiaomi phones. Tap on screen to see the clock and notifications if there are any for the 10 seconds and then turns off. While when always on display just wastes battery power and can also cause the burn in forthe screen.
MicroSD not sure to land on A56 and if it is on shared sim card slot then it's useless for people who need 2 sim cards. Then again how many people even still use it even if they have the slot.
Software is personal preference as there are no tests made to test what OS is better as in the end of the day the youtubers and tech sites will still end with the list in order what they like about the different OS. Well ok Xiaomi OS is badly optimized so not good for battery life but is that all that is bad with the OS ? Samsung OS can have like 10 negative things but still be better OS compared to other OS

Doubtful about 3.5mm jack and unironically that's a major concern for me, as I'm looking for a second phone and would be nice to grab one with that feature.

there are much better midranger out there nowadays with spec like 1.5k screen resolution huge battery ete etc yet samsung still stick to the same old stuff. no wonder it sales is declining. other brands are using snapdragon midrange & upper midrange processor but samsung still stay with exynos for its top midranger A56. it will be hard sale

You overpaid for the brand, no more no less.

The only good news out of this is that the A36 got back its headphone jack. I couldnt care less about a metal frame if it means losing a more important feature, besides metal means worse reception and more weight for nothing since it will be in a case either way

- Crap cameras (main, ultrawide and selfie)
- No aluminum frame, no Gorilla Glass Victus screen protection, no glass back
- No MicroSD
- Crap software, without a proper Always On Display and only 3 Android updates
Another thing you forget is that Samsung offer strong early birds discounts (last year I bought the A55 for only 290 € here in Spain) and in a few weeks the price drops (A56 will likely drop to ~350-400 € soon in many).
Really, all those comments about official price are a bit boring, A3X y A5X sales have been excellent for many years and it isn't because people are blind...
