Planned obsolescence kicks real fast with these phones built on promises.

Well, about time. This is how it should be. It's very refreshing now seeing more and more Android flagships get 5+ years software support.
It also shows how cheapskate the Taiwanese businesses actually are (Asus with their 2 years update). No wonder they're self eliminating.

Hope the 7years update is given on time, instead of 3months after the version launch, looking at you Samsung.
