They wouldn't have launched that ugly slab and scrapped the little Zenfone if they actually listened to their user base.

Anonymous, 16 hours agoNot interested, if you cannot carry a sub 200gr phone then ... moreI prefer my workout weights to be, you know, actual weights, not my daily communication device.

Saying there's 'not a lot of difference' between 160g and 190g misses the point entirely. We're not just talking about grams, we're talking about a paradigm shift.

In the future phones won't be two-centimeter-thick slabs weighing half a kilogram. It's about overall volume, ergonomics, and the simple elegance of a device that doesn't feel like a brick in your pocket, more confortable to hold, less noticeable, feels more premium and less dated.

Not a lot of difference between 160gr and 190gr (like the S25+) while it takes the same space in your pockets

I don't mind the occasional leaks, but finding everything out about a device before it releases takes so much fun and interest out. It allows people to already be negative and leaves nothing for surprise.

Around 6mm thin and under 160g? This isn't just a phone, it's a pocket revolution. If Samsung and Apple deliver these ultra-slim designs, we can finally say goodbye to the era of the huge brick.

Imagine a truly pocketable, large-screen phone that's actually comfortable to carry. This is what will make big screens finally interesting, not just cumbersome.

But I am worried about the battery life. Samsung should have used silicon battery for this one, maybe next one.

I bet this thing's mostly plastic, right? It's light and cheap.

Would expect lesser price as less battery capacity, less materials and less components.

Let's see how Samsung price this phone on the day of launch.

Who are these people who the companies go to for feedback and they ask for slim phones?

This is going to be one of those phones were people walk in to a phone shop, poke and prod it for 5 seconds, then leave without buying it or anything else.

There are really people that are interested in thin smartphones with small battery and less room to cool a flagship chipset?
4000mAh battery on a 6'7 or 6'8 smartphone isn't going to be great, I'd rather have a thicker phone with bigger Si/C battery and enough room to avoid overheating

Who exactly is this device for? Priced between $800 (S25) and $1000 (S25+), let's call it in the middle and say $900. Samsung is hedging its bets that anyone even remotely interested in this, it's because of the devices anorexic looks, super thin is what I mean.
