Hikari, 11 Mar 2025budget phones arent beating these lol. maybe 500-700 dollar... moreThe S25 is a $500-$700 phone though. I actually got mine for less than $500 on preorder (512GB version at that), with free Samsung Buds 3, case and wireless charger.

a good and honest review. please doba comparison between the S25 vs the Xiaomi 15U and S25 Ultra vs the Xiaomi 15U

This is one of the best comparisons/reviews of any phone I've ever read. Thanks for posting! I didn't do enough research before I ordered the S25U, and am beyond annoyed that Samsung has taken away the bluetooth capabilities of the S Pen, especially the ability to use the S Pen as a camera remote. I use this feature a lot and will definitely miss it on the new model. Removing the bluetooth from the S Pen was a big mistake on Samsung's part. It's definitely a downgrade, and such, I don't think they are justified charging the same price as they did for the S24U. Same price for less features. Not for me! I'm going to send it back when it gets here. If Samsung does away with the S Pen as some of the other members have indicated, my S24U will be my last Samsung. End of an era for me, I guess... :-(

The low quality of night photos is outstanding (don't mind for S25+ because it's cheaper with clearly smaller sensor).

DarlingYext, 11 Mar 2025I wouldn't think about Redmi phones here, especially n... moreThat launched for €500 Euro in Europe. The camera hardware is similar to the s23+/s24+/s25+ already but the end results are much weaker overall with the weaker chipset especially for video recording quality. Video quality always suffers in these phones with Middling chipsets

DarlingYext, 11 Mar 2025Only in terms of cameras, and I was only talking about the ... moreYou're talking about budget phones for $250-$300. Even global versions of €500 phones from Redmi (e.g. Redmi note 14 pro+ 5g) are coming with 8mp ultrawide and 2mp macro combinations so that point is just wrong. The video quality in most of those phones is also terrible even from the main camera so no they won't beat it with no telephoto, 8mp ultrawide s, and poor video and 1080p front video. Sure the cameras on the s25+ aren't good enough for the launch price and there are plenty of better options for cameras in the price segment but your comment about $250-$300 phones easily beating it is simply delusional and wrong. A fairly ridiculous claim for a person who follows phones to be frank. Would expect better from a long time commenter here

T S2x+ has always been meh in terms of price, I'd expect it's the next one to be nerfed/scrapped by Samsung after A5x so they push artificially the sales of the rest of their overpriced gadgets..

For me the s25+ doesn't really justify the price difference with the s25. The s25 is practically the same apart from screen resolution which doesn't make much difference as the screen is only 6.2" on the s25. It's also kind of a unique offering at 6.2" and 162g with good cameras (although not the best they are good and are strong for video quality). You get the same camera performance as the s25+ for a good bit cheaper

If I had to pick would go for S25+ but already have S24+ and won't upgrade so soon. Ultra is a little bit too large for me and I don't need s pen or perfect camera.

I hope you can also do a similar comparison between the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 ultra. My feeling for cameras is that you will also find very little difference in quality apart from zoom capabilities
