That is for the 8gb 256gb storage variant of each. Each have the same RAM for these prices. Based on the official prices there is a 29 euro difference. However, in Europe prices vary from country to country and Xiaomi usually quotes their lowest price on launch but then proceed to charge more in some European countries (they have often done this in the past). I don't follow Samsung so I'm not sure if they do the same. Basically, based on launch price they are similarly priced. Neither are particularly good value at launch prices but that is almost always the case for newly launched phones. Buying slightly older models on sale will almost always give way better value for money

        No expandable storage on either the A36 and A56 is such a bummer!

              As for display quality, Redmi series usually noticeable worse than Poco F or T series.

More ram and storage. For camera, the A series looks nothing special compared by upper midrage chinese brands like Vivo V series and Xiaomi T series. Samsung A series just leading for One UI, software support and micro sdcard even the article didn't mention about sdcard support at all.

                                So the sd card slot disappeared. Is there any info on whether the A56 supports raw photos since the a36 is snapdragon and probably will? These seem kind of meh ...nice design though.

                                  GTA V, The Witcher 3, Resident Evil 2 and tons more are now fully playable on smartphones through apps such as Winlator, but that depends on how powerful your chipset is

                                    Why not increase the software support of s23/s23 plus or maybe re-release those as a36/a56.
