Ev... moreThey don't put active cooling on MacBook Air (MBA) because they feared people won't buy the "more expensively better" MacBook Pro (MBP). Apple could've put an active cooling system in the MBA, and it still won't effect the MBP sales.

          GSM Arena Title:
          Tim Cook teases Air.

A better (and somewhat click baity) title:
          Tim is Cooking "Air".

And probably an announcement regarding deprecating iPhone 16e from next week 😭🙏💀

Prepare for even higher temps and even worse throttling. Every since the M1 thermals in the Air have declined with every new chip, to the point of hitting absurd temps. And no, Apple saying it is designed for those temps does not excuse 115°C or more under load.

"jUsT gEt a cOnSoLe" And stuck with 60 fps? No thanks. I also don't want to have dedicted device for anything. At least my gaming laptop can do both productivity and gaming. Running out of battery? Just plugged the charger, it ain't that deep. Can't handle the fan noise? Then it's a you problem I guess. 🤷‍♀️

Rolly Ghiz, 6 hours agoI recall that the MacBook Pro (M4) went for about $4000 so ... moreNo need to recall your poor memory. Just go to Apple website and you can check the price by yourself and see if you are making stuff up.

Having Lenovo legion for 2k bought 3 years ago still does awesome gaming jobs.
Would like to see the one who spend 4-5k onn a apple laptop for playing games no thanks.
A midranger specced notebook for price of a ultra gaming desktop PC.

It's a productivity first, gaming second machine. Its CPU / GPU and high ram plus power efficiency makes it very good for LLM dev.

Its rivals are like the Qualcomm X elite / plus machines. Such as the Asus Zenbook A14, which is surprisingly very good laptop.. but suck at gaming.. because of the win11 arm to x86 emulation.

Funny pricy $600+ smartphone 😆 in2025 without any speciality

I recall that the MacBook Pro (M4) went for about $4000 so this won't be in any way cheap. I'd rather build a gaming PC myself if I really want pure gaming performance

They are finally releasing breathable air!
iAir and iAir pro subscriptions start at $99/month!

The M4 Macbook Air is hardly a surprise.
The question is, why Tim Cook suddenly becomes the PR person?
