Infinix launches Note 50, Note 50 Pro with bigger batteries

Infinix NOTE 50 Pro 4G can actually runs 120hz on all apps, but not 144hz.

But the hardware detects:
1080x2436 @120hz (highest)
1080x2436 @144hz
1080x2436 @60hz (lowest)
*from higest-lowest, exact order.

So it seems to be an incorrect behavior, OS related issue. Can be fix via software updates, otherwise boot another OS and try to lock 144hz.

          I will wait for Pova 7 specification before decide to buy Infinix note 50 pro or Tecno Pova 7 pro. I hope Pova 7 pro will be better than Note 50 pro. Transsion can listen to Review and user opinion on Infinix Note 50 pro and then Improve the Tecno Pova 7 pro. This will make better sales

            I get that they copied Samsung but they could have AT LEAST choose a different wallpaper that doesn't look like the S24U wallpaper zoomed out

              nice phone... LTE suffice at the moment... 5G consume a lot of power.

                    Infinix is starting to remove those two features from their mid range lineup since last year and replace it with wireless charging and IR blaster.

                      I wouldn't be surprised if this model would be introduced in Indonesia first because last year they were at the top of sales, in terms of specs and features they are quite good in the price range of $70-300 (when compared to the BBK Group), (Purchasing Power People here mostly buy cellphones with a budget of $70-400 because the minimum wage is very low at $300 per month and many even earn less than that).
                      "Indonesia is lagging behind with its 5G deployment." This is very true, I live in the second largest city and it is very rare to get a 5G signal even in public facilities.

                        Good jobs Tecno, now it is time for Pova 7 pro launch. I hope it is better than Infinix Note 50 pro. many people still waiting to comparee Infinix Note 50 pro and Tecno Pova 7 before they buy it

                                        Anonymous, 04 Mar 2025It's not like there are many similarly priced phones a... moreLast time I tried the camera quality of Z9X is literally on par with the Note 40. The Infinix one feels a bit overprocessed for me tho.
                                        And yeah, both "still" uses IPS screen, but again it's pretty subjective tho. Other than better for someone that prone to PWM headache, IPS tends to be more durable (what I mean as "durable" is it won't get green line or permanent burn-in problems) and cheaper to replace. I don't really care abt color accuracy.
