The fact that I never heard about Digg until now, and I did hear about Hi-5, MySpace and others at the time, says a lot about how relevant it was.

I even knew what Weibo and QQ were at the time thanks to meeting UC Browser on my Symbian device

AI content moderation will either ban everything, or work as well as that Microsoft Tay AI chatbot did.

Anonymous, 05 Mar 2025I remember hearing about all these different social media p... moreBro its never too late to go and learn new things and its never too alte to make and understand new friends.
More friends we have more human we are.
These are my own words and it helped me to create family like friendship among thousdants of our customers at our stores.
Try to understand them and go along with them learn their way and they will learn your ways.
World will be a better place for everyone if we try to understand each other and accept him as he or she is.
Nobody is perfect but nobody needs to be.
Light shines to all places equally.
May the your light will shine equally too and penetrate all the darkness than consumes your light and nurtures your fears.
Be well, be light and be friend.
      People will always finds you.

TBH, I never used Digg while it was popular, as I was too young to use it and my internet use was restricted. Also, I don't recall my parents using it either, so it must've not been within our interest. Now knowing that it's coming back, I *might* give it a try, but I don't know if I'll use it much.

Darth Caesium, 05 Mar 2025Man, 2025 is a wildly unpredictable yearWhat is anon nid doing in xiaomi 15/15 ultra?

I know it , content moderators job not safe in future . Time to start searching new job .

Feels like they REALLY wanted to make an AI social network but knew it would fail, so they brought back an existing IP in hopes it would atleast kickstart the site

I have never heard of it. My main page in a browser before duckduckgo was google and before that was some local search site and that was from the times of Netscape

Man, 2025 is a wildly unpredictable year

I remember hearing about all these different social media platforms when I was a kid. I didn't know much about it until I grew up a little and when I received my first phone and really had access to the internet, I started understanding why I never could make friends. People who use social media think differently, they talk about topics and use words that I never heard of before. I have always been a person who lives in the real world, all I wanted was a few friends to play with and have fun. Instead I had to grow up with failures who could only talk about rappers, influencers and video games. I am 20 years old now, I am at university and I start becoming social, talking to more people who have the same interests as me. But since I never really learned to be social, it feels difficult to keep contact with others.

I think life would be much better without social media.

Nah~~~ why not just let it rest forever for good. Plus, they want to incorporate AI into it 🙄
Never use it before and will never be.
