How about they make advancements in basic phone bezels instead of creases. If they can get rid of bezels, then the screen can just be made out of 2 panels of glass that meet in the center, getting rid of any crease or screen weakness

It be nice if the inner screen would be actual glass instead of scrachable ultrathin wannabe glass

          NO Crease in Foldable! Just.because Apple materketing material says so, it can’t be! This foldable will have all the first generation problems others had. Only saving grace is that Apple has the luxury of copying many of the solutions implemented by the market leaders like Samsung, Huwawei, Oppo, OnePlus etc…and get away from public wrath on some of the issues. Too late too little as always!

              We have not seen this specific aspect ratio before, but the idea is not new. It's a form factor that is shorter folded and more rectangular unfolded. The Find N may have been 1st to try it. The Pixel Fold took it further. Regardless, this form factor never stuck.

              Samsung sold the most book folds in a year. That was likely the Z4, which probably sold about 4 million units. This ifold is projected to sell 20 million. Projections aren't set in stone, but if they only sold 10 million that would be more than half Samsung's best book fold sales. What happens then?

              Let's say the ifold sells 15-20 million as projected, would everyone have to reconsider their aspect ratio? I'm curious to see where this goes.

                        Finally Apple will launch the first and ever of its brand foldable phone after long long awaiting years since the world first foldable phone was launched a decade ago. Surely I will get one no matter what price it is. I love it.

                              iPhone is the main cash cow for Apple. Apple wouldn't risk it. The iPad or Mac are safer to experiment with foldable s. Less volume and as such less support cost if it went South.
