the 15U reminds me of the Fabled Nokia Lumia 1020. The camera piece was way ahead of its time.

I have both. In my eyes and hands the things are way way different. In battery life S25U beats 15U with a 10-20% margin. But the charging is a double faster on 15U. For 15 min I have around 50% juice in 15U and around 20% in 25U. I mainly use a wireless ch. and there the difference is something like a Ferrari vs old diesel van. 15U make a stunning beautiful pics and videos, from 25U they are very good but flat and hear und there a little bit noisy. The screen on 15U have too much reflections. Really too much on direct light. On 25U it is a clear like a paper and simply the best for outdoor.

Here's something I observed in past few months when both of these phones launched. S25U was on display in most popular shopping centers where large number of people frequent daily, every shop, cell phone operator, or phone shop had it on display. You could touch it, play with it, and even pre-order it mid-January! What about Xaiomi 15 Ultra? Well, it is April already, and only handful of stores had it on demo display, and some store sellers don't even know that it is out!!?? That tells you how powerful Samsung brand is. What phone will an average consumer buy when they come in? A phone that is 2.5 months already on display, or the one that is... not even there? Also, a good indicator are the used/grey market ads. Samsung S25U is like 5x more present there, and Xiaomi 15U is only handful present. No matter what Xiaomi offers, at least in Europe and my country, it will be behind popularity of Samsung, and that's why it can afford minimal upgrades over time.

The Ga... moreProof that charging is slowed by software and you have to activate it yourself is that cell phones with 6000 mAh and less powerful chargers charge faster than this one. And Xiaomi added the option to activate fast charging in settings.

1. Sa... moreAnswers to the ones that aren't advantages:
1. The Galaxy costs less, but Xiaomi gives you a $400 tablet with it, so in the end, the Xiaomi is cheaper if you sell the tablet.
2. The software is Samsung's only advantage.
3. Truly fast charging has to be manually activated in settings because of people saying fast charging is harmful.
4. The Spen is almost useless without Bluetooth.
5. The battery does last longer on the Xiaomi according to GSMArena. Where do you get the charging data from? (You only take what suits you from each test you see.)
5. An anti-glare screen can be purchased with a protector.

Galaxy's are already sharp enough, Xiaomi's yes here and there sharper, but look unnatural in other ways, to me.

1. Sa... moreSo charging slower is in your pros list?
And if by chance you get the Chinese model, that's 10% extra battery, even with 5400 this beats s25u in the test here.
God bless the downgraded s pen
Not gonna talk about anti glare + screen protector, cause you do the research🤓

jiyen235, 14 Mar 2025lmao the blind calling the other blindThe thing is that you don't have enough strength to see those comparisons I'm talking about. The distinction between you and me is I'm criticising Sammy where it needs to be and you're bashing them for everything out of your rage. Common for underages.

nofanboys, 14 Mar 2025I'll give another option from the list of pros for eac... morePros of Being a Samsung Customer
1. If you're from America, you get the best purchase prices because of the country's significant investment in Samsung.
2. If you want a Samsung phone with the advantage of stable updates, buy the Korean version instead of the global version.
3. In the United States, Samsung's trade-in program is very cost-effective, allowing you to upgrade your phone each year for just $150. However, in other countries, trade-in fees can be significantly higher—around $400. Additionally, official store resale values drop by 40%.
4. Samsung users should be prepared to set aside an extra $200 in case they experience a green line issue after a One UI update or if their phone falls and cracks. Despite Samsung's claims of IP68 or military-grade durability, the actual protection level is closer to IP64. Their advertised screen protection of up to 2 meters may not be entirely reliable.
5. Don't comment bad word or haters about Samsung Because you can be tracked and blocked from their Official site (community) like me.👍😎

I'll give another option from the list of pros for each one, since some things are unnecessary:
Xiaomi 15 Ultra:
1. Much better camera overall.
2. Better battery life and charging (there's an option in the settings that activates true fast charging, as the default charging option is the one that provides less power to avoid overheating).
3. Better speakers.
4. Much wider color spectrum on the screen.
Galaxy S25 Ultra:
1. Better software, more updates, and with a few more options.
And now, the Spen isn't an advantage because it's much less useful without Bluetooth.
And the performance is the same. Xiaomi no longer has the advantage of having a charger in the box, due to the European Union, but at least they didn't remove the case.

Thank you very much GSMArena for this wonderful review, it is strange that at x8.6 the photos on the Xiaomi are somewhat blurry, but as you've pointed out very well, when it does take proper photos it beats the crap out of S25 Ultra.
This is my phone to get this year, im giving my S24 Ultra away to my wife and since the S25 Ultra has no meaningful upgrades (and a couple of downgrades while we are at it), ill go for Xiaomi 15 Ultra, unless the new Xperia is so good that it can even beat ultra (but considering the last 4 years, wont hold my breath tbh, so Xiaomi 15 Ultra it is for me!)
