I hate Alctel, they will never ever Update any phone at all, if your phone is ICS , it will remain ICS . They have never upgraded a single phone one OS version to Another

Now the news was about 2 new handsets, you already hijacked it with your "knowledge". You could just have said, Alcatel aka international division of TCL which is kept for strategical purposes.
TCL isn't ready to expose its own brand on international market, that's why they keep selling under Alcatel's brand to get more sales.
