Decreasing battery , amount of ram are just ways to increase margins.

As usual, Chinese brands also tend to hide how they use their domestic factories to avoid QC issues associated with the Indian factories of the respective ODMs (Wingtech), so that the sinophobic Indian government allows to sell devices that are actually made in Wingtech's Chinese factories.

Very Good Launch with good pricing. Looks like a better option than Realme GT6T, Poco X7 Pro and Poco F6 at the same price. Probably the best performance oriented phone at 25k now.
Realme P3 Ultra with Dimensity 8350 will either have to be around 20k or will need to have better cameras, hopefully a telephoto lens like Nothing Phone 3A or 3A Pro. Or else it will be DOA.

Compromises are the most notable aspect in the mobile world for the respective target audiences based on their financial capabilities. For instance, devices that promote repairability have weaker chipsets (HMD Skyline, Fairphone, the HMD has an upper edge due to having better camera specifications compared to the competition), and those that prioritize performance settle down with appalling camera and display specifications (noted on this phone and the Poco F, X series). Unfortunately, this is one of the factors why low ends mostly rely on eMMCs, or have terrible chipsets, when older premium features should trickle down to cheaper phones with time.
One thing you didn't acknowledge: FunTouch and Hello UI are both the same UI with different icons (due to being outsourced to the same software development team). Though Moto actions are exclusive to Lenovo's devices, it's replaced with Jovi Lifestyle features in Vivo devices. You can use both exclusive features on both brands via porting, and no issues have occurred so far while attempting to do so.

Rather than performance, software quality and photo quality are important to me. And for someone else, raw SoC performance, battery life etc can be more important. For someone else, it can be design, software support etc.
But my point is - one cannot make a generic statement like "destroyed competition under 30000 rs", as if that specific phone is suitable for each and everyone in the market for a phone in that price range. There are always compromises involved in each phone and people will choose based on the specific features that they are looking for.

Funtouch is not "stock android", but it has no ads either. You can choose not to use their launcher. Anyhow, Motorola's update history is enough to keep me away.

-o-, 11 Mar 2025IQOO neo 10r already destroyed competition under 30000 rsNot always. I am looking for a phone under 30K INR, but I won't consider this phone for 2 reasons.
1. Software qualtiy - I prefer Motorola's clean Android over this.
2. Primay camera quality - Many other phones under 30K have primary camera with larger 1/1.56" sensor. This one has 1/1.95" sensor which is much smaller. So photo quality in low light situations will be much inferior when compared to the other phones in this price range.

This phone destroys the segment best OnePlus Nord CE4 and Vivo T3 Pro & IQOO Z9s Pro under INR 25K with ease as well as performance centric POCO X6 Pro, X7 Pro, Realme GT 6T, OnePlus Nord 3, Realme P3 Ultra as well targets under INR 30000 POCO F6 & IQOO Neo 9 Pro to some extent all with keeping AI features to put Oppo to shame on Reno Series. In my review, I found it has a phenomenal battery life with 6400mAh which is amazing. Plus to have 198g despite having such battery is a bonus.
