Apple releases iOS 18.3.2 and iPadOS 18.3.2 re-enabling Apple Intelligence if you had it turned off

12 March 2025
You should probably still install the update, however.

Kind of like how Apple makes it so difficult to turn off Location Services. There's no shortcut in the Control Center, not possible to make Shortcut to toggle it on/off and with every update the setting seems to get moved further into another sub-setting.

Check your settings once in a while and disable everything you don't need. This is for both iOS and Android and Windows. Check them after big updates.

It's still garbage useless and false advertising. Apple has been removing ads of their Ai featuring personalization cause it doesn't do it and thus false adversities

Do i have to turn off Apple intelligence for each app separately? Isn't there any facility to turn it off all at once? I switched to iphone 16 Pro Max today.

"with every single update" Haha, and they were saying that Microsoft pushes things down people's throats, that Apple is good. How things change (or they were always like that, just that some people prefer to be.. "selective" with their opinions).

Honestly Apple intelligence feels pretty un-Apple too. AI as a whole is a shitty technology, both ethically and in terms of functionality, so I expected Apple to skip it. Although, looking back, that was probably too optimistic of me considering Apple is a trillion dollar company who is incentivized to maximize shareholder value

that is shameful for company like apple be that far behind google, samsung in ai

This is something for the regulators. Impose a hefty fine on apple for ignoring peoples choices with regards to data protection.

Chris, 12 Mar 2025Apple intelligence US a battery killerLike always. Apple have no battery at all.
When chinese phones started to use 5000 mAh cells in phones Apple had 2000-3000 mAh.
Now when they use SiCa batteries and 5500-7500 mAh they start giving 3-4k mAh cells.

Wait until Apple fanboys said "Why you need to turn it off in the first place? Just don't use it and leave it as it is."

Anonymous, 12 Mar 2025"Nice, AI is already taking over our free will." ... moreSounds like basic human nature. If you have to turn it off every time Apple issues an update (considering how many updates Apple releases), little by little more people will just give in and accept it, and once enough have; it becomes a requirement. You really think everyone wanted to give up receiving a charger in the box, their headphone jacks, and now giving up Touch ID (on the SE models)? Once enough users have given in “a choice” will become “a requirement”. Just give it time...
