But you can always prove me wrong, please do share some RAW images, under the same light and subject conditions with those two sensors, so we can can better compare them.

Both are 22nm fab with DSG hdr.
Lyt818 is to imx707 what Lyt900 is to imx989.
Both are exmor RS and pack same features.
Not even sony semicon claims 818 as better than 900. Never has.

People here need to stop making excuses to justify nasty downgrade just because of where the oem is from.
Imagine if S25 Ultra had GN3 instead of hp2. You all would be beyond 🤬

LYT-818 is actually great. I have seen the comparisons with 1 inch-ers and the difference is not big at all. The only noticable difference is against the x100 ultra at some 2x zoom pictures (not all). But in most cases, the difference is quite small or even no advantage at all for the 1 inch. A larger difference in favor of 818 is between 818 and 808 for example from Find x8 pro.
