Even in 2025, making such extreme efforts just for a software update is a joke from Samsung.

Not me!

Cyberchum, 22 hours agoDon't tell me that you're that ignorant. What is ... moreSamsung simply shouldn't be pushing out half-baked Beta software for a nearly 6 months old Android version, when Android 16 is coming very very soon.

I'm staying logical, as I'm staying away from half-baked Samsung products.

Anonymous, 13 Mar 2025All brands do this lolLiterally none of them do.

I never said it makes it unusable but after paying that amount of money on a phone I'd expect top tier software support and this isn't it, despite people saying it is.

"And that those who received it chose to."

So if it was their decision they deserve a half-baked update? Naah I'm not following this method.

Stop throwing your emotions into things that don't require them. Stay logical!

Compared to other makers samsung new update has a whole lot of things in it, hence the big size and probably why there are delays.

Practically Dumb, 14 Mar 2025Yeah, they are behind schedule and it sucks. Every Samsung ... moreExactly. Pure corporate greed. This will push back many Samsung top range users in future. OS updates for 7 years is just mere marketing if they don't release in time. I doubt anyone uses a device for 7 years. 4 years of timely updates would make much sense. Currently using S23U and skeptical about upgrading to a Galaxy top range device in future.

This should have happened months ago. Simply unacceptable considering updates are supposedly a big selling point for Samsungs.

Another day, another example of Samsung being lazy and incompetent.

Cyberchum, 14 Mar 2025You conveniently forgot the part that is a BETA firmware. Why release it then if it's going to be unstable anyways? They should just release the full version already, it's there, right in their hands.

Beta, or not this shouldn't be defended, 3 year old phones from other brands have already gotten the stable Android 15 update without issues.

Why can't the supposed biggest and best brand of them all, famous for top tier software support deliver the updates? Intentionally delaying it that's why.
