    Peter UK, 14 Mar 2025And then they will announce it's only for Asian Market... to be fair, euro humans has larger palms, which they find 6.5"-6.7" is a good size. asians, in general has a tad smaller palms. 6-6.3" is a better size. i myself prefers a smaller form factor phone that tug neatly on breast pocket. i have ipads, laptop, pc and tv for different usage. kids, would prefer the biggest phone they could get. i long passed that phase

      I guess the 8S+ will take the place of the standard 8 as the global version has virtually been withdrawn from phone resellers.

      I've reached out to Oppo UK and none of these phones will make it over at least in the UK so we're out of luck if you want a compact flagship from Oppo. They will continue to sell the X8 Pro but that's where it ends.

              I guess it will have the classic 90degree edges on the back, making it another of many same "design" language phones :/

              Can I get some plastic sandstone back like Oneplus One have so that it will be pleasant to use without a case? Only close thing from current phones is Motorola but their component choices are just .. bad.

                      I am hoping that they have USB 3.0. Almost bought Vivo X200 Pro Mini until I know that they use USB 2.0.

                              That's an interesting naming strategy. For Vivo and Xiaomi, "S" means improved version.

                                    Sure, I don't think the naming is good, but I guess you understand what I mean.

                                      Find x8 is pretty good phone, we will see how x8s will hold on but I think it will be good. Looks nice and good specs esp x8 has good processor and more importantly ufs4.0. we will see about those "cheaper" and smaller versions where they will have cuts if they will have any cuts at all.

                                        Nothing can be called 'Mini' over 6''. Pretty suable otherwise.
