This solution, no matter who implements it, has always sucked. The best solution I've found and used on several occasions was Google Translate. I write what I want, have it translated, and then speak it aloud. Speaking into an airpod or an app, then waiting for it to turn that voice into text, then translating it and following by reading it takes way longer and has a much higher chance of getting so many things wrong. The only thing that's near perfect in converting voice to text with almost transcriber-level quality is ChatGPT. No extra hardware is needed. It's not that good with translation, though.
