14 March 2025

DarlingYext, 18 Mar 2025Again, why would I own or use a product that I dislike? It ... moreAlso Samsung Galaxy PWM screens are awful.
As I am sensitive to low PWM.
High flicker screens make my eyes explode.
    Kapow!!!!

I just want Samsung to put high PWM frequency in their screens, seriously.
I am quite sensitive, dry eyes and sleeplesness.
At least like 3850 Hertz risk free absolutely and all the way 1% - 100%.
Not some fake some other Chinese brands do.
Honor Magic 7 Pro is fake PWM.
It is just at low brightness and then over like 20% it has 360 Hertz which is terrible for PWM sensitives.
And Samsung yeah screens have absolutely terrible PWM.
S25 Ultra got not much going for it.
      Just faster processor.
      And they nerf the phone.
It is called an Ultra and it should have everything.
I so wish Samsung just did it, Bluetooth 6, Xiaomi already has it WOAH.
MAYBE, maybe it is just a marketing gimick to get people hyped???
      Also aptX Lossless.
      Absolutely.
      Samsung should seriously dew it.
      Nothing major has now changed.
Bigger battery, maybe like 6000mAh, 65 Watt charger at least.
Gallium charger should make sense already.
If they do S26 Ultra like S21 Ultra S Pen.
Then at least should do so it can be charged with the phone wirelessly magnets then it is okay for me.
And Bluetooth in it absolutely needed.
      Also tge camera is okay.
But I wish they added a 1.0 inch monster.

No new innovation or improvement of life upgrade but luring customers by gimmicky features. Samesuck!

Others clearly offer more hardware, and less but faster software updates. The rest of the brands usually don't remove useful features going from one model to the other, while not giving something instead or lowering the price, but Samsung does.

I have enough bad experience with Samsung to not like them, some would be my own, others would be from my customers. In my country even their after sales services are absolutely awful.

DarlingYext, 14 Mar 2025"..then 5x telephoto on the S24 Ultra, ultra wide on t... moreWhen you leave these kinds of comments, without testing producs properly and you write something based on your hate, of course you get asked if you're using the product. But you need some brain power to understand why you're getting asked this question. But you're a Samsung hater and that's obvious because on any Samsung related post, you come spread negative thoughts.

Bring also back the iris scanner or any kind of face ID

Sammy0, 16 Mar 2025And the base S26 is rumored to retain the same ancient came... moreIf someone can offer hi res hdr raws with a worthy detail and auto ND filter in app, maybe then they would tey to compete.
Now I know only about apple being able to shoot hi res on 1 or 2 cameras, and Google phone, but only non raw that one(not sure).
Anyway, no auto nd, no one got this 3000euro tech.
There are people going just gor looks and latest chip, maybe not even f9r cameras but for foldables... but those who care about photography will understand its value...
Without competition it's hard and there is no LG, with sony lagging a lot in these features... how can there be improvement then..

F1.4 vs F1.7 would gather 60% more light.
IR/UV removable filter would add 150% more light.
If they removed ISO limit at least for pro mode, even if with less detail or some noise, you could get like 300% more bright picture.
All together for 500% better low light.
Shooting falling stars or starships, easy then.

i wish these pigs for money (aka samsung) will also make a comback to MICRO SD CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In many comment sections, people hate on China and Chinese phone brands, but without Chinese brands like Huawei and Xiaomi, Apple and Samsung would still sell flagship phones with dual cameras and tiny sensors.
Huawei introduced an actually usable variable aperture and now Samsung wants to do the same.

And the base S26 is rumored to retain the same ancient cameras for yet another year! Why is Samsung forcing buyers to carry a bathroom tile-sized phone in their pockets if they want to get the best cameras?? They need to emulate what Apple and Google are doing and offer their best cameras on a phone with a 6.2"-6.3" screen, or preferably even smaller.

vrvly, 15 Mar 2025To be able to use f1.4 at night, f2 or f4 through day, woul... moreThe problem with any aperture below f1.6 is softness in photos and hence, lesser details. in dark, it helps, but in sufficient lights, it makes pics soft.
Bigger sensor will help upto an extent, but they make the background blur/ bokeh even heavier so.. maybe not use f1.6? Even DSLR's suffer from this, slightly only though.

In my Canon DSLR, using a 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 lens, I get best sharpness at f8. In 50mm f1.4, best sharpness is achieved at f2.8.
Hence, variable aperture will help a lot, although it's not an original idea, Nokia N86 8MP did it many many years ago.

kdss, 15 Mar 2025Read my post too. As I said, only Samsung has this feature ... moreOf course. What you said is perfectly clear.

Even midrangers from MI, Realme and poco are boasting a brutal 68 billion colours but Samsung can't figure it out. Its one of the rare flagships to be doing this, prob. the only one.
Poco F5 had 68 billion colours, and its years old, as Poco F7 just got lauched.

Samsung are no longer innovators, can't recall one thing they innovated by themselves in recent times. Since S10, all they did was remove 3.5mm jacks, and microSD slots, and added a little performance.

To be able to use f1.4 at night, f2 or f4 through day, would help better night photos/videos also easier focusing or defocusing in daylight.
Some brands 7se this with 1/1.5" sensors which doesn't help much, if at least 1/1.3" was used...
