Or you're just a hater and nothing else? I own S23 Ultra and 25 Ultra and the pictures are better on the S25 Ultra on all cameras especially the night ones. But I'm gonna bet it's just hate towards Samsung and nothing more.

It's true the S24 Ultra was inferior to S23 Ultra in long zoom range(20x to 100x), but I don't use those and the S25 Ultra with the 5x telephoto is doing better than the S23 Ultra with 10x telephoto, so the problem has been fixed.
The ultra wide do take better pictures, have you watched recent videos with software updates?

Replacing a 1/2.6" bayer for 1/2.6" quadbayer has zero benefit.

Sure, they did change those sensors, but for the better? Well, I don't think so. We've now lost 10x optical zoom instead of getting an upgraded zoom lens that still does 10x optical. As for the ultrawide, yeah it's higher resolution, but it doesn't take better pictures.

Using s24 plus. Will wait for 16gb ram and 1tb storage version. Don't know if it comes with s27 plus or later. 4k screen won't be bad too.

Anyway, have fun making fun of people on GSM Arena. 👍

When samsung had those 1/2.55" 12mp main camera, sensor was new every year.
On both variants ( snapdragon / exmor , exynos/ isocell).

On Wikipedia, there was list with exmor , exmor r, exmor rs and phones that used each sensor. But someone removed the list.

Apple often gets new on every year, even if specs are same

DarlingYext, 7 hours agoThat would finally be an actual camera upgrade, hopefully i... moreSamsung seems to have a pattern of changing the main sensor every 3 generations. S8-S10 had the same 12MP sensor. S20 Ultra-S22 Ultra had the same 108MP sensor. Even if Samsung does change the main sensor with the S26U, I can't imagine it being 50MP. It might be slightly larger but Samsung's been going after ludicrously high resolution in recent times, even if that comes at the cost of image quality. Binning fewer yet larger pixels almost always results in better image quality, especially in more difficult lighting.

When looking at it, they're upgrading cameras every year on the Ultra model... But not the base and Plus models.

Pretty sure Samsung’s previous efforts were better described as dual aperture rather than variable, but maybe that’s splitting hairs 🤷‍♂️

Sure, Ultra gets everything, but not midrangers S26 and S26+ staying again with same old cameras.
