HMD hasn't disappointed in anything yet, except their launch prices in certain regions. Oppo has been dumbing down their phones for the global market for no other obvious advantage, apart from their massive profit margins.

            Also, haven't anybody noticed how easy it is to twist Oppo devices with a slight force? Embarrassing for a brand's reputation, when it advertises durability via word-of-mouth through pushy salespeople.

              what the hell is the point to make "Vitality" edition? it's not like it would give me immortal lives whenever i bought this infinix smart 8 ahh design phones. these phones look like if it was made in india with subpar performance and quality at high prices.
              the oppo a5 in the other hand, i could tolerate that kind of specs. but it's so unfortunate that it would be china-exclusive. either rebranded to another F series in indian markets with the worst software possible!

                $140 is pretty good for a 6 gen 1 and a FHD OLED, but the vitality edition should not exist.

                    The A5 Life just seems like an A5 Pro non-China variant, while the standard A5 is better than the chinese Pro in some cases and worse in others.
                    Makes total sense, good job Oppo.
