            it's useless to use it as a digital assistant if it still can interact with the phone like, launching apps, using the calendar, calculator, controlling devices, writing sms and emails right on the phone apps, using map apps, calling apps,
            until it's able to do all this things, I'll never use it as a digital assistant

              For some reason I'm not feeling the excitement that I feel like i should be feeling. I realize that in my current life, I rarely use voice-related functions. But maybe that'll change.

                Ten years ago, I would've been so excited about the possibility of having long conversations with an AI.

                But now when I try to make conversation with an AI, I feel so stupid cus I realize that I have nothing much to say to it, LOL!

                            I like using assistant to set the timer while I'm cooking, though I don't think I need a 600 billion parameter neural network for that.

                              I know no one asks for this, but the last time I use a digital assistant on my phone was back in 2022 when I uses Google Assistant on my Samsung.
                              And oh yeah, I'm still using the same phone, but without any Google Services. Thanksfully, I don't have problem running any apps that I use.

I set up my parent's phones and seeing this makes me furious. They don't really know how to change the lock shortcut and can you blame them? Everyone's used to one thing and then these shady companies pull a fast one on us.
