Lenovo Idea Tab Pro unveiled

14 March 2025
It features a 12.7-inch LCD and a massive 10,200mAh battery with 45W charging.

This is basically the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7" 2025 which was released last year. I bought mine for only 258USD for the 8/256GB version.

Kind of expensive for only D8300 when there is D8400 and the price for tablet should be ok with that. This is in the price range of Xiaomi Pad 7 that is with SD 7+ gen 3 that is better then D8300.

Also Pad 7 should get 3 OS updates too while start with A15 and not like this Lenovo with A14

I wish Android manufacturers would wake up, Why would anyone buy this when ipad can be bought for this exact price and supported for next 7 years. this tablet will stop receving new android version by next year, android 16 beta is already out and that's the max it'll get.

              Looks good to be honest.

Aierlan, 15 Mar 2025I bought the Chinese version of the Lenovo xiaoxin pad pro ... moreYeah, I just realized it's just a rebadged XiaoXin Pad Pro 2025, so technically it's not new + makes sense it launches with Android 14.

                    Rest of Asia date?

I bought the Chinese version of the Lenovo xiaoxin pad pro 12.7 inch for 1399rmb and it's probably the best value electronic item I have ever bought. Really great Harmon speakers, very good screen and micro SD card support and enough power with the snapdragon 870. Definitely impressed and have had zero problems with it. An equivalent specced Xiaomi tablet was nearly 50% more when I purchased it

Zhang Yi, 14 Mar 2025Looks like Lenovo is just recycling the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro ... moreThis is not based on the P12 Pro.The P12 Pro has a D5.6mm and weighs 565g, while the Idea Tab Pro has a 6.9mm and weighs 620g.

What a great deal. If the software is okay...

DarlingYext, 14 Mar 2025"The slate ships with Lenovo ZUI 16 based on Android 1... moreLooks like Lenovo is just recycling the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro from 2021 slightly sharper (0.5K) and swapping the Snapdragon 870 for a Dimensity 8300, which is basically the same but cheaper for today's market.

"The slate ships with Lenovo ZUI 16 based on Android 14 and is promised two Android version updates.."

So, 1 Android version update, and is basically going to have an out of date software version in about 6 months from now. Amazing.
