I will probably buy these.
Here's why?
I've researched which Earbuds are out there, which don't have an on-ear design. The choices are slim. Most of the options are cheap. Very rarely do they have ANC. I couldn't find too much research from audiophile testers. Almost pulled the trigger on the Nothing Buds, because it seemed acceptable quality, and very affordable. But then I discovered the Huawei FreeBuds 4 (discontinued).
And the FreeBuds 5, and that ticked all the boxes. However, since the FB5 were a bit old, stock was low, and prices high. Managed to buy a brand new one off AliExpress for half price. Only issue is that it is the Chinese model, and through the official App (AI Life) it doesn't let you change the language. Unlike the International Model which let's you swap between a dozen languages. But it doesn't affect the usability, the App is still in English. The carrying case is actually great, it really fits in my pocket like it's barely there. The earbuds are secure, they don't fall out, and they are ultra comfortable. The sound quality is exceptional, and ANC is actually working, not as good as my Closed Over-Ear Sony XM4, but pretty decent. Overall , great job Huawei and I recommend it. Will look at buying the FreeBuds 6, as long as availability is there and price is acceptable.

Freebuds 4i are my favorite earphones. I tried 4-5x more expensive ones, but they just sit so well in my ear and sound pretty good.
