      I think this is the smallest Android now. You can't find mobiles under 6.7" anymore (maybe SG S24). I should definitely buy one but the colors are not the best choice. White grey green would be more helpful but hey that's me.

                Bezels are thicker than my stash of life savings... It's bad either way...

                  Cost-cutting, that's pretty obvious though.

                  And oh yeah, I have an unrelated story. So, I've told many times that I have the A03 as my second phone. And I just realized that my friend has the A14 5G, which is 1 year newer than my phone, and also slightly more expensive. But guess what? His phone is literally has thicker bezel than my older cheaper A03. That's just a prove that cost-cutting is very very possible, and Samsung will do anything to cut costs for their low end phone as much as possible.

                          Darth Caesium, 17 Mar 2025My old phone's — the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 — side bez... moreWhat made the 2017 A series compelling, has to be the fact that they were the only series to feature Grace UX globally (except the Galaxy J2 Prime/Grand Prime+, only low-end with Grace UX), Samsung's last series of IP-rated phones made under Sprocomm, Samsung's last series of phones with an aluminium frame and a glass back (all later phones use alloy frames or plastic instead), Samsung/Sprocomm's last series of IP-rated 16:9 phones and Samsung's first global series of phones with a Type-C port. Now it's just a generic namesake for Wingtech-based slabs with no identity or character whatsoever.

                          Also, the only compelling Wingtech A series was the 2019-2020 x1 series. The later ones have thicker bezels for no specific reason.

                                Inexcusable cost cutting with the bezels. Midrangers from 5 years ago literally have far thinner ones.

                                        This should be no more than 1500 aed, for that price literally i can buy galaxy S25 😐
