It's part durability test, part teardown.

      I don't like JerryRigEverything.

I don't see the appeal of this guy's videos. He makes abusing a phone look boring. Scratching a phone's body with a knife and holding a lighter to it tells you nothing useful. I'll watch drop testing if I want to know about a phone's durability.

          [deleted post]Exactly.

A decade on youtube and people still dont question how much force is applied during this guys each bend test .

Good thing it can take a bending, so it will survive the anger most buyers of this phone will feel after realizing how big of a scam this device is.

.alpha, 18 Mar 2025Could you stop reposting from this guy? He is not doing dis... moreI like Zach and has been following him for years. He doesn't promise to take apart the phone. He's harsh as his style focuses on durability.

I'd say Weki home is really doing great job with their videos among the ones you mentioned. Ifixit doesn't cover everything especially the Chinese brands not much.

                    Pbkreviews is great one too...

.alpha, 18 Mar 2025Could you stop reposting from this guy? He is not doing dis... moreHe is focused on testing things like rigidity, bendability. Also material thickness and such. Not just disassembling but also testing actual strength needed to break something, so people are warned if something is not up to par. As much as I hate seeing phones destroyed, he does something nobody else does and that is a good thing.

Could you stop reposting from this guy? He is not doing disassembling, he is doing destruction p*rn. 微机分WekiHome, iFixIt, Phone Repair Guru do disassembling and go over all the parts and even comparison with other models
