This is interesting and pretty useless on a same time.
Translator by google is bad to some languages for example Slovak or Czech.
So having my text or any text i can make a photo of it or select from internet translated and then played by AI is turned into a half baked nonsense.
Some words are so bad that a full based nonsense is immonent of this as a result.

403 Forbidden, 19 Mar 2025> I don't know a single person, who is comfortable ... moreI was also using paper notebooks for any language/long text related work for years (as all of us) and to be fair - i'm much faster and efficient with pen and paper than with any sw and tablet.
BUT, and guess that is why people around you switched as well, with e-text you can always re-organize easily, re-shuffle, paste in between/re-do it/SEARCH in it and so on..
Ironically, that kind of convenience makes people... learning less, than before :)) Boom, a nasty surprise :)
After all, previously we had to go over and over again through all those hundreds of pages in 10 diff notebooks and summarizing/re-structuring/organizing all the info..which made us learning the material in the process :)) Convenience has its price :)

Luke, 19 Mar 2025I also do not like and cannot read long text from monitors/... more> I don't know a single person, who is comfortable reading long pages of simple text on a monitor/screen
Ironically most of my college friends do... Most of people here prefer doing note taking on their tablets instead of using pen and paper like I do.
Can't blame them tbh, bringing one tablet is much simpler than bringing some different textbooks and notebooks for different subjects. But yeah I'm not used to doing things like that.
> guess we all switches to modern webpage/fast scrolling/video type of consuming information
Tbh I will never understood people who enjoy this type of short content. I only use Reels to watch memes though, never use it as a primary source of information.

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2025I can read articles like this or other even more long artic... moreIf that's an important pdf or ebook that you usually read, try printing it. I also find reading something long from my phone/tablet/laptop screen a bit uncomfortable and makes me dizzy sometimes, but got no problems when I try to read it from paper.
This is why I never do any note-taking on my tablets and prefer the old school pen and paper method instead. Simple, yet so effective.

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2025I can read articles like this or other even more long artic... moreI also do not like and cannot read long text from monitors/screens which are backlit..tbh I don't know a single person, who is comfortable reading long pages of simple text on a monitor/screen.. No issue on ebooks/paper..but then again it depends what, when and in what condition I'm while reading.. guess we all switches to modern webpage/fast scrolling/video type of consuming information

Luke, 19 Mar 2025GenZ generation is kinda... slow nowadays. They can't ... moreI can read articles like this or other even more long articles than this.
But when it comes to reading ebooks, the thing you said is exactly true... I don't know why but I find it extremely hard to even read 1 page of a ebook or PDF.. Maybe, because my brain finds it boring or something else I don't know...
Do you have some solution for this ?? This problem is bogging me from longer time

DeepIn2U, 19 Mar 2025Why would I, or anyone want their own documents posted as a... moreGenZ generation is kinda... slow nowadays. They can't read more than 1 page of text, without losing the focus. Hence there are such options.. inspired from sci-fi old movies, where sleeping people were exposed to a looped audio material so they can be brainwashed/, educated ;)

I can see the use case. Just feed it with documents you need to go through either for work or school, then listen to it while you go for a jog. If you can feed it entire books, that's an audio book on demand now.

Why would I, or anyone want their own documents posted as a Podcast for?!
Ridiculous. Would be better to have an app for influencers to sort thoughts, categories chapters for their influential & paid reviews n commentary of such and upload to YouTube for revenue stream. That makes a LOT more sense than this!
