The foldables already have a hard time dissipating heat compared to bar phones. Throw the exynos in and voila!!!! You have a stove replacement!!!!

This is like... the worst platform to try their newest chipset.
Like why tf they don't use this on S25 FE or Tab S10 FE instead? Make much more sense.

[deleted post]Please keep working on the One UI 7 update for at least the S24 series, the users deserve it, instead of commenting nonsense here.

Actually, this doesn't sound like a bad idea. Samsung can use the FE line as a ground for Exynos chipset development. I'm okay with this move.

If this goes out, then great. Samsung can take advantage of those know-nothing buyers who buy the non-FE purely because they think "Exynos bad" when in reality the difference is negligible.

I have no issues at all if they want to keep using Exynos chipsets in the FE and A series. Hopefully will allow them to put more money into other aspects of those phones. The last few Exynos chipsets have been pretty decent too (2200, 2400, 1580 all decent), but yeah the flagships HAVE to stay Snapdragon. No way people should be paying top dollar for a Exynos lol

Isn't this obvious? Already said so way back. The main foldable lines are ultra flagships for Samsung, and as such they have been, and will always be, Snapdragon only. If Exynos is used, it will be a separate model like the FE.

A good reason to avoid the Z Flip FE.
