Samsung is antsy about ruining the Flip7's winning formula.

Especially when there is time being, where there is huge gap between A5x and vanilla S flagship due to A7x being axed and S FE wasn't released for few months later in 2023, a quiet fatal misstep by Samsung. There are reasons why Samsung nerf the A5x series this year, including the MicroSDXC card support that has been the decider hallmark of A5x over S FE. Now that is gone, Samsung want people to purchase their S FE instead of their A5x series.

Really the problem with Exynos was never that it couldn't compete with Snapdragon it was the pricing, if we get a small discount on Exynos versions I'm sure people would go for it. Afterall 2400 and 8 Gen3 wasn't that different.

Like... they should be putting 2200/2400e into the A56 rather than 1580.

I mean, the since the first Tab S7 FE and the S FE historically was more like the continuation of the S5e/S6 Lite (although it is true that Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone definitely did have Snapdragon 855, but it's part of their phone lineup, not the tablet), they never touched flagship chipset at all, even when the vanilla Tab S probably have been discontinued for good after not seeing one with Tab S10, I don't think Samsung will trickled down the flagship chipset for Tab S10 FE.

The foldables already have a hard time dissipating heat compared to bar phones. Throw the exynos in and voila!!!! You have a stove replacement!!!!

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2025flip and fold already problematic phone...now they add exynos The complete package of problems.

This is like... the worst platform to try their newest chipset.

Like why tf they don't use this on S25 FE or Tab S10 FE instead? Make much more sense.

[deleted post]Please keep working on the One UI 7 update for at least the S24 series, the users deserve it, instead of commenting nonsense here.

Actually, this doesn't sound like a bad idea. Samsung can use the FE line as a ground for Exynos chipset development. I'm okay with this move.

If this goes out, then great. Samsung can take advantage of those know-nothing buyers who buy the non-FE purely because they think "Exynos bad" when in reality the difference is negligible.

So another Flop Edition phone is coming, I see.
