Joker, 20 Mar 2025Don’t understand why they ditch Nokia brand and making most... moreThey had, but they were trolled and reviewers were paid to bring the reputation down, pretty much as it now happens to Nothing. Nokia was killed the same way plus mictosoft intervention, nokia downfall was planned, with nokia up there, crappy phones from capple would have never stood a chance, a thing nokia leaders did not understand, is that americans do not play nice on the competition field. Now hmd has no money to regain their rightfull place on the market, releasing budget devices after budget devices to keep them afloat. But their interest is actually in midragers, making the whole thin a bit wierd, and i have a fealing they already lost that market too because well, in this case they are a bit to blame too, because they just need better software straight from releasing. Their devices were mostly rough at release and that put off a lot of people. I can put up with that, but not everybody is like me...
As for NOKIA branding, here is actually nokia the company to blame. They ended licesing the name to b2c companies, this includes hmd, and if you are one of those who thinks hmd owes nokia, nope they never did and never will. Anyway NOKIA stopping the licesing it's brand name means nothing that can be bought by a private customer in stores will have the "NOKIA" brand on it anymore.

st0rmtr00per, 20 Mar 2025HMD should upgrade their software policy, and focus on less... moreI hope they will get back to thinking logicaly, as for now they kind of lost the plot. And europe is in need of better competition besides chinese brands that release a device every 2 weeks and apple /samsung.

Anna, 20 Mar 2025This phone will come with an outdated Android 14 pre-instal... moreHMD should upgrade their software policy, and focus on less phones. One budget, one midrange and one upper midrange or flagship killer. That’s it, with good software support. I cannot find any logic in what HMD is announcing all, phones are looking like one another, the inly distinguishing phone is the Skyline which is for now the HMD flagship in the form of a midranger. But what theyre announcing lately is making no sense, model names make no sense too. HMD, please be more clear. Make HMD 1, HMD 2 and HMD 3.

This phone will come with an outdated Android 14 pre-installed and will get only 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates. Typical HMD!

Don’t understand why they ditch Nokia brand and making most substandard phones especially with unisoc processor and outdated design. They had huge potential of reviving Nokia brand with flagship phones.

Kloot, 19 Mar 2025Oh, HMD got another shipping container full of ten year old... moreHMD's love affair with Unisoc is pretty strong! 😝
By the way, they don't sell these crap phones for 1000 INR. They are more in the range of 10000 INR. Thankfully, they didn't launch Key and Arc here.

Kloot, 19 Mar 2025Oh, HMD got another shipping container full of ten year old... moreSo does ZTE, lol.
At least, these chipsets have UFS support and a decent bunch of cores when the Mediatek G85s and SD680s with their rehashes have the obsolete Cortex-Ax3 cores with eMMC most of the time.
