I thought they'd be too expensive and it wasn't wrong. The End of the positive part. 550 and 750 for basic 8/128 wi-fi versions, and still without full DeX? The rest of specs aren't flagship either. And why do you mention 90Hz? 90Hz is not enough and would be one more downside. Even if they get cheaper, it won't fix wired output. Simply NO. Better pick from other options.

If you think i... moreEven Apple's base iPad can output video over the USB-C connector (that's despite being USB2, you miss out on Stage Manager but it should at least be able to HDMI to a TV for watching films in a hotel) and that's a good chunk cheaper than this. It's insane that at this price point it misses out on that functionality.

eh, when the chipset is good enougg to run the software at decent speeds with not much stutters, its a pretty good deal for me. other brands such as xiaomi may have superior specifications, but my perspective has changed (kinda), as i lean towards software more than hardware now. the tab s10 fe+ i do believe is kinda overpriced tho

The good:
- 10.9" screen with 90hz rr. If you think it's small, there's the flagship S Tab series.
- Expandable storage (which should've been on ALL tablets tbh)
- Included S-Pen
- Runs Android and supports DeX mode (albeit in-device only)
The bad:
- Too expensive
- DeX mode limitation is such a cheap move from Samsung just for the sake of product segmentation
- Base RAM & storage should've been 8/256 at least, especially with that price. The part prices would be cheaper if only this tablet were manufactured by a company that also manufacture RAM & storage chips...oh wait
If I were to buy a tablet now, I'd get the older Tab S8 or S7FE.

It's ironic that the tablet scope of Samsung Galaxy still have the MicroSDXC card slot, and it could be the few choice I have to pick if I need tablet after all. The competitions and competitors don't offer them anymore (cough Lenovo Legion Y700 2025 removing the card slot support from the 2023 edition one cough)

Anonymous, 20 Mar 2025Well, 90hz, a laminated display, and an S Pen are included ... moreAgree with you here. If the price difference isn't too large (because of a student discount, for example), I still feel that the Samsung is the more well-rounded device. The iPad is only better because of its significantly faster chipset.

Absolutely horrible value products.
Honor and Xiaomi offer flagship experience at these prices.
Luckily for Samsung, people are largely ignorant when it comes to specs and they keep buying this crap

Nikojas, 20 Mar 2025You'd have to really hate Apple to pick one of these o... moreTbh the only reason to choose this is the in-device DeX. Otherwise, I'd rather sacrifice the better screen and get the iPad 11 instead. I don't use the pen and the AI features so losing them wouldn't be a problem for me. Paying a bit for the accessories (such as the mini keyboard and flip cover) won't hurt me.

Nikojas, 20 Mar 2025You'd have to really hate Apple to pick one of these o... moreI wouldn't take the iPad Air 11 for one straightforward reason: iPadOS. It's fine on vanilla iPad and iPad mini since they run on A-series SoC. But on iPad Air/Pro with M-series SoC? It's an absolute joke! You may as well buy a normal Windows tablet like Microsoft Surface Pro in the first place.

All I'd ask is USB3 with wired video output. It shouldn't just be a flagship-grade royalty feature, especially with how fast modern mobile SoCs are nowadays. After all, the Tab S7 FE also has it despite having a Snapdragon 750G/778G SoC and 4GB/6GB RAM.

Nikojas, 20 Mar 2025You'd have to really hate Apple to pick one of these o... moreWell, 90hz, a laminated display, and an S Pen are included (No charging is required, and the artist can use any Wacom pen), probably a good set of AI features. 1580 is pretty good, expandable storage, DeX mode, other than that, unlike apple samsung's pen has a good pen like feel bcs of rubber tip feed. For students, Samsung Notes is arguably the best note-taking app available for free. FE+ is still very overpriced, but the S10FE version is good and probably a better deal once it starts to get discounts.

850e for connectivity and large screen. The android tablet market really is starved for tablets with antennas huh

Nikojas, 20 Mar 2025You'd have to really hate Apple to pick one of these o... moreWell at least this has 90hz, Laminated display, S Pen included (that doesn't even require charging), and most likely Awesome Intelligence. And now that 1580 is so good, it's only a chip downgrade from 8 Gen 2 level (A16) to 888 level (1580)
I can however agree that the S10 FE+ is overpriced though

You'd have to really hate Apple to pick one of these over the iPad 11. Mediocre specs in every way except the price.
