The teasers promise an "Ultra-powered flagship", confirming that the Poco family is about to welcome its first Ultra phone.

    They can't cost too much more than the X7 Pro.

    They are based on the K80 series from over 6 months ago already, so the Pro is a day late and a camera lens short if it loses the K80's 2x tele in exchange for what amounts to a glass plug to cover the hole.

      Due to many people buy the Chinese version and put international ROM without saying it's Chinese version hardware in the first place.

        This would be an absolute banger of a phone if the bootloader can be unlocked, though I haven't really heard about the status of bootloader unlocking ever since hyperos 2 came. Anyone care to tell? Otherwise there are many other phones with Chinese roms that are some good competitors for somewhat cheaper, as long as you can bear with delayed notifications.

            Anonymous, 20 Mar 2025There's no F7 base. Only Pro and Ultra models.There is, India doesn't get Pro or Ultra from the F7 series as per an older article here on GSMA.

            That makes me curious as to what SoC they're using since they already have F6 with 8s Gen 3 here.

              It's F7 already and it's still worse than F2 Pro due to hole in the screen.

                I really dont understand wtf is Poco doing, letting youtubers show the phones before the official launch/reveal.

                  The time may come to finally upgrade my POCO F5.

                            Why every smartphone has 1/1.56" sensor for primary lens. I wish there were better sensors for mid range to lower high end phones. The realme gt 6 got it right but realme put a worse sensor in its flagship gt 7 pro
