But in terms of GPU performance, there is a sizeable gap, with 7s gen 3 having around 30% lower performance... Hence the 's' moniker.

        Reading the comment, I legitly thought 7s Gen 3 would be a downgrade over 7 Gen 3. Well, because of the "s", I guess most people here already know abt that.

        Welp, turns out it's not. The performance different between them is really really really small. Heck, even 7s Gen 3 uses a newer architecture compared to 7 Gen 3.

        Qualcomm naming scheme is confusing af.

The best proof of this is Honor: They sell in Europe and the UK their flagship Magic7 pro with a battery that they reduced from 5850 to 5270 mAh, trying to justify it with some kind of "regulations" (without specifying what those regulations are, of course), while at the same time they offer the midranger Magic7 Lite with an unchanged battery of even 6600 mAh.

                See? There are phones with a battery stronger than 6000 mAh on the European market. But some manufacturers persist in reducing batteries for certain or all non-native markets. Xiaomi's flagship models Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra for "global markets", as well as the vivo x200 pro in Germany, Austria and Hungary, suffered significant degradation compared to the Chinese original.

                It would be necessary for manufacturers to start appropriately naming such products with degraded components. For example "Xiaomi 15 Ultra - with reduced battery power". It is not allowed to call products with different characteristics or components by the same names, because they are not the same products, so it is necessary to start punishing those who do so.

                          I have watched the official post of having 7300mah battery which is insane chipset is also awesome with decent camera but the price would not be under 20k. If it would. That will be a unbeatable in this segment

                            [deleted post]Gonna be identical to Z9 in terms of camera, snapdragon 7s gen 3 and UFS 3.1 since Vivo t4x and realme P3 are already having it under ₹20K and as it will be priced similarly as Z9 which is 18K+ it should have 3.1

For some reason most of the flagships from Chinese brands though seem to be getting reduced battery capacity. Not sure if it's something to do with dual cell and single cell batteries and various regulations around each.
