I have been using honor pad x9 since last year. It's a great tablet for normal use for me some games. One of the best thing about this tablet is the 120 hertz display the screen is also good considering its an LCD. But the one thing I don't like is that there hasn't been a single major update since I got it it is still on Android 13 so rather than launching new pad please update the old one as it is really capable of that. Really disappointing

They really made a tablet with 8300mah in 2025. We got phones with almost the same capacity as this huge in comparison tablet. Si/C 10000mah minimum.

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2025And my Xiaomi pad 6 with 6gb ram lags a lot. Xiaomi pad 7 pro with 8gb doesn't have lag at all. Super snappy and performant. You're probably doing something wrong if it's behaving like that.

SD685?? Bruh, even a SD780G would've made much more sense, or at least a SD 7 Gen 1. That 120Hz will be very useful only if I don't run super heavy apps and doing so simultaneously too. Otherwise, it is as good as having 60Hz standard refresh rate instead. Which leads me to the next point of why bother with 120Hz TFT LCD when I would prefer the higher-quality 60Hz IPS LCD instead, like those in lower-end iPads? At this point, it better not cost anything above $200, unless they can also give at least some quality speakers like those in iPads too (can they?)

Gantlu, 22 Mar 2025X9a is going to cost much lesser than A9+ , similar to X8a ... moreAight, you're right, comparing both of them seems unfair bcuz both have different prices. But with the similar pricing with this X9a, I can also got the Infinix Xpad or the Tecno Megapad that comes with better G99 processor.

If the mighty Samsung A9 lags and stutter a ton with g99 on hd tft lcd screen i wonder how will a far inferior and horrible chipset such as SD 685 will perfrom on a full hd+ display. Wild. Honor never learns.

Tft lcd on other hand says a lot, it means its low quality garbo with awful green-grey tint used on budget devices. There is a massive difference between ips lcd, tft lcd and oled
The comment complaining has full right on its own, since both Samsung and Huawei release low quality products with slow chipsets.
But hey, your cereal box diploma didnt teach you about how the real world works nor screen qualities.

Gantlu, 21 Mar 2025But TFT LCD in 2025?! Well can't blame them, probably ... moreTFT says nothing about the display. Both LCD and OLED use thin film transistors (which is what TFT stands for). Only thing your comment shows is that you have no idea how displays work.

Why suddenly these OEMs are using the ancient Snapdragon 685? Did the ODM discover some unused old inventory or something?
